Kuro-u paused and brushed her calloused hand over Tomoko's in assurance before beginning to eat herself. It had been almost 2 entire days since she'd eaten properly but even now she had less of an appetite. The thoughts of war weighed heavily on her mind.

"I must see lady kuro-u"She said getting up. She hung the sack on her back and walked towards her village. "I must bury my village now,"She said. "I will meet her promptly tomorrow morning,"She said arriving to the village. She saw dead children and bent down by them. She began to pray. She was interupted by a faint cry of a little girl. She walked silently towards the cry and saw a little girl crying and badly injured. Umi extended her hand out to the girl but she pressed herself against the wall. "Im here....i belong to this village,"She said calm and sweet. The little girl lifted her head and said,"Where's my mommy?" Umi did not want to upset her. She gently picked up the little girl. "what is your name,"Umi asked examining her wounds. "its Remi,"She said. umi walked out of the hut. "I need to take you somewhere to get those wounds healed,"Umi said walking out of the village into the woods. She walked towards the village where lady kuro-u lived. She arrived at the village. blood stained her clothes as she walked farther in the village.
"Does anyone know where Lady Kuro-u is?"she asked despretly. she looked at the girl. "Stay awake remi please,"She asked calm.

The young warrior nodded and began to walk briskly to Kuro-u's home. Rapping on the main door he spoke with a servant who ushered Umi and the young girl in straight away, not bothering with formalities as Kuro-u had been alerted to their precense by her hand maiden and unceremoniously left the room leaving Tomoko to either follow her or finish her meal.
Recognising Umi instantly she ushered her servants to aid the ailing girl clasped in Umi's arms. Medical knowledge was far spread in the village and the girl would be fit and well in no time Kuro-u assured Umi as the girl was carried away.

Her voice trailed off as a young red haired maid appeared at her side, "Umi this is one of my junior maids Unoku...she will escort you to some quarters upstairs and see to your needs. I must return to my small audience with my associate. If you need me fetch Unoku and she will send for me." Kuro-u smiled and turned, leaving the two young women alone.

Pouring a beautifully scented liquid from a small corked ceramic bottle into the warm water.
