Your opinion is therefore invalid, as you are unaware of the circumstances. Obviously you simply wanted to insult Bardock, pity for you he was only banned temporarily. Have you read the thread in question yet? Because, until you do, you have no room to judge.

Well, I thought I should clarify how I viewed the circumstance of my ban, so here it goes:
First of all, Ushgarak didn't actually go in this thread as a Mod, since there was nothing a Mod has to point out. He even admitted himself it wasn't serious, he just posted cause he wanted to, like any other member. I didn't argue with his Mod decision, because there was no Mod decision. I replied to his post (which by the way came after some time of halt in the thread and absolutely Off-Topic) and I replied to it in a similar manner as he originally posted. Lets also not forget that he entered the thread when the order was restored and did through his post ignite the argument once more.
He blamed the fault of the previous off-topic argument entirely on Alpha Centauri, while the real misbehaviour was much more on lil bitchiness' and probably also my side. He did not acknowledge that though and kept blaming the innocent one (by the way forming the opinion for other people is not the duty of a Mod). He even went as far as to call a harmless remark (absolutely on topic) "trolling", obviously a ridiculous claim, worthy of being pointed out regardless if someone with authority or not claimed it (where I come from we call it lying...we don't think it's cool).
I would say his intentions were in no way to restore order in the thread (since that already happened), but to bait AC and press his opinions on the readers of the thread that already had a different opinion that hardly suited him. If you don't believe me take a look at this quote:
Especially the second sentence, how are we supposed to understand that? AC didn't get enough blame in the last argument so he had to come in to start it again giving more heat on AC? Does that sound fair? Does that sound like a Mod should behave? Does that sound hypocritical? I'd say no, no and yes.
Also, he assumed that his opinions on trolling and in what mindset a poster posted have to be fact, despite the actual truth or what that poster said. Last time I checked being a Mod on a forum didn't make you the master of reality.
So when I called him out on it he started to change his approach and suddenly it was all in his function as Mod (not as member who wanted to start an argument) and he used it to shut me up about his mistakes. Also pretty funny, when looking at his ban post
We can see very clearly that a question was asked and directed at me, but then I was denied to answer it. Weird? To me it is.
Anyways I replied with a one word reply pointing out his behaviour, which he called pointless and if I'd do it again I'd get warned. I understood that a one word reply might actually be pointless so I replied in more depth and gave reasons and arguments. Got warned regardless. Strange.
I guess someone doesn't like their opinions to be challenged.
The other reason for my ban "going Off-Topic" is even more hilarious, since well, I was the only one of the three participants that actually participated On-topic before the argument. As well as him actually bringing it off-topic and AC and me just pointing it out. Hmm, can a Mod ban himself? If so, it would have been quite necessary in this case.
Just another point and I don't think AC should have been banned, but I recall Ush arguing with him after he banned me, about the exact same thing. Just a thought. You judge that for yourself.
So, lets review one more time what happened. Lil bitchiness and I (and a few others) had an argument that mainly consisted of her blaming shit on me we both did (it was kind of on-topic though). The argument ended and we were all friends again...the thread returned to normal. 50 minutes later Ush entered it igniting the argument again, blaming all the fault on someone that hardly participated and just questioned the sources (oh so on topic) of lil b (I'd go out of my way and assume that's the actual reason he came in, wanted to protect his Mod partner). When I pointed his misbehaviour out to him he got stubborn and banned me. That'S about it,
So all in all I think my ban was unjustified, hypocritical and an abuse of powers that had been granted to prevent such things as he started them (which neatly fits the hypocrisy again). So, I think I made my view on it clear and he (although not stating the truth) did so as well (Ush, you can also reply to that, but I won't give an answer, I like KMC too much to argue with you, even though I am right usually ....when I say usually I mean always). Well, that last thing was after he told me I'd be banned.
And I was helping just as much in this thread as were, Trickster, Alpha Centauri, lil bitchiness and Ushgarak. I pointed out his misbehaviour,, he pointed out the made up misbehaviour of someone else. All fair until he went ahead and tried to shut me up about his multiple mistakes. There was no attitude against Ush. If at all there was an attitude Ush tried to establish against AC. That was bullshit and unnecessary. He abused his powers, that's basically all that is to it.
And again I was the only one actually on-topic before. Ush came in for NO REASON and started an off-topic argument. Quite pointless, he should have just admitted it and left.
