I was gonna actually go and read all of mysterio's apperances to see if this was true... laughing out loud

Alright, I see what he's saying about the cartoon, but none of them thought that Parker was actually Spider-Man since his powers were going all screwy and disappearing for periods of time.

Never happened in the comics though.

well in the movies so far its been like 4 years. and those four years spidey has only encountered 2 tough (super)villains. He has like about 3-4 villains to deal with in SP3, that is weird, like a sudden uprising of villains

Just remember to never base your "facts" on anything other than the comics. Otherwise, you're just setting yourself up.

That has nothing to do with it, though.

See, in regards to comics, there is "canon" material, such as most of the comics you read, and there is the other material, which may be based on a common idea (such as Spider-Man), but it does not affect the comics in any way. The cartoon that you're talking about is not canon material; therefore, you can't rely on it to be the same as the comics.

It's kind of complicated. Think of the cartoon as an alternate reality of sorts, that has no bearing on the comics. smile
