Ok all jokes aside Cap is way more skilled in combat than spidey. If Cap had spideys powers is would be a curbstomp for Cap every single time they fought. And another thing when it comes to character (especially marvel characters) we have include their temperaments and their track records when we have these discussions. Spidey always has problems with skilled martial artist so why would Cap (one of the best in the Marvel U) be able to take him for a majority. Cap can definitey hurt him and Pete is definitely hitable so I don't see why a fighter as good as Cap can't take him.

You should really read the first 20 pages or so, everyone came to the conclusion that Cap can certainly take Spidey is fast enough to hit him and deal some damage, even win, but not the majority. I think we all came to an understanding that Spidey wins 6/10...then someone bumped the thread and that debate was ignored lol.

The only problem I have though is I don't think Cap should be able to score pressure point hits on Spidey, sure he should hit him occasionally, but a pressure point hit is far to precise for someone who is fighting someone faster than they are and has pre cog. I know Pete was intimidated and not fighting at his best when this happened but I still think it's a bit daft.

Don't make assumptions I've read this thread from the beginning I'm just not convinced of your arguement.

I don't think Cap needs pressure point hit hurt Pete. With them the fight would be easier but Cap hits hard enough to inflict damage on Spidey with out them.

Some people seem to forget that even through the odds are against Cap, his skills are really extraordinary.

It's true that skill should not matter against an opponent so much faster and stronger than himself, but look at Karate Kid... In comics, skill has a way greater value than in reallife.

Spidey wins only 7/10

By the way, Cap's skills should matter even less, considering Spidey is very unpredictable.

I don't think we can get a good debate out of this by using their fight in the comics.
