But some of the things thy try and explane in the PT just make thing, a little more confusing or just dont work. Take the(sorry in advance) medicorins or whatever they are called. Now thats a stupid idea and makes the force some kind of illness more than anythinf else.
Why did GL do that? We all took the force as something that binds the galaxy together, not as a bunch a lickle germs. Totally the wrong thing to do.
The Force still is, Lucas just tried to explain how creatures can communicate with it... ah well.
And the Yopda speech in ESB was not compiclicated, it had a certain profoundness. But because SW is so simple it leaves room for these things.
the PT however makes a lot of things feel unnecessarily complex (like the whole Senate stuff and the Sifo Dyas things, even the bounty hunters and Kamino stuff requires a lot of characters that just raise question (i.e. why didn't Jango kill Padme himself?) while Lucas does not deliver in answers or story drive. It is still simple, but for some reason Lucas did his best to make it feel complex... and there it just got kinda boring and loud at the same time.
I watched the 2nd half of Clones last night on SKY for the first time in about 2 years and i thought it was terrible on the whole,JESUS i must have been blind....i felt embarassed watching it.
Only Christopher Lee was any good and he was cutting it fine with his reaction shots in the arena.....on the other hand i purchased Jedi the other week and watched that for the first time in a while and i was completley satisfied.....THE PT IS A MUDDLED MESS!
I never realised how bad it was(Clones)
Time away from the hype and forum hysteria of TPM and AOTC sure has had a big affect on me for those two flicks,i cringed at one point as i watched Obi Wan contact Anakin on Geonosis....it was just so ******* BAD!!!
I had a lot of fun with the build up and release of both pics but now years on watching them i feel a little empty..BLIND I WAS I TELL YOU....BLIND!!!!!
The jury is out on SITH..im going to leave it for a couple of years.
I guess personally ill just put the prequel trilogy down as a bad dream and continue loving (and collecting memorabillia of) the ORIGINAL TRILOGY .
