In case you want to try it.

Here's one of them:

1 mile on treadmill

8X4 bench

Superset upper-body circuits (15x2) on machines, alternating machines between each set

Super 8s (for arms)

Decline-bench stomach crunches, throw-and-catch; and oblique twists w/kettle-ball (if you have a partner) or w/plate w/out the throw-and-catch for obvious reasons; until burnout.

If I'm not doing arms, I'm doing back, so replace super 8s with the row machine and the lat pulldown - 15x2 alternating each set.

It's all a big cardio. If you would like to maximize your results, which would take all that pudge on me off the muscle for optimal definition and improved BMI, eat these kinds of foods after the first 8 hours of the day, and before the first 8 hours eat lots of natural foods high in monounsaturated fats. You're getting ketogens, burning 100% of the fats you're getting, increasing your testosterone, and your metabolism and energy levels to the umpteenth degree when said diet is implemented. Higher rep regimens like this one (designed specifically for sculpting and increasing MMA endurance-strength), when culminated with cardio, vastly improves lean mass, vascularity, your v shape, and your visceral appearance overall.

This is going for Brad Pitt from Fight Club, or Brad Pitt from Troy after a while.

Oh yeah, and drink boat-loads of water. I'm talking over 2 gallons on a daily basis. That kind of hydration is going to boost your metabolism all on its own.

That whole diet and sculpting-exercise routine was designed to turn someone whose flabby, even if they have type 2 diabetes, into Charles Atlas.

Blood-flow is almost entirely cut off from the fats after a while, basically redirected to the muscles. Apoptosis is the only key to permanent fat-loss.

You're thinking of lypolysis, not apoptosis. If your exercise and diet are causing your body's cells to kill themselves, you're not doing "health and fitness" correctly.

However, if your exercise and diet are causing your fat cells to breakdown and use that stored fat as energy, you're probably doing things correctly as long as we are assuming you have plenty of fat to use in this manner.

Good hunting.

Good hunting.
I'm aware of the difference, and I wasn't referring to mere lypolysis. I'm talking about the removal of excess cells generated from the American diet. The products of mitosis, the visceral multiplication of these cells that transforms one into the overbearing body-types, the endomorph, during puberty. After a while lypolysis becomes apoptosis, dormant fat cells are targeted and will be deleted from by the rearrangement of the molecular strands themselves, your very genepool would be altered as your genes have undergone what's known as 'epigenesis'.

That isn't just healthy; your metabolism will become absolute depending on how you set your CNS - that's dependent on both the intensity and consistency of your endurance strength-training, your muscles will be more visceral than otherwise possible, your bone-structure will grow to adapt to the runner's build. Very mild growth, though, not in density or length, but the joint size will decrease or increase depending on which joints we're talking about.

Given that will only happen after a decade, if you started when you were still in your 20s.

The difference between fat-cells that are empty of lipids and less fat cells in general is visible. Once those cells are gone, you can eat junk food and decrease your physical activity for years on end before the cells fill up and multiply again. I'm not talking about a lot of apoptosis, that only happens to fat cells that have been starved of lipids for tens of years, all the while your body has been nourished. If your body isn't nourished, you're not even going to experience lypolysis.

The real alteration to metabolism, achieving a body that uses so much energy it takes away from your longevity, comes from sprinting at the end of your mile, adding in a few extra sets, engaging in new motions during your lifts, or doing some new calisthenics and plyometrics when your body compensation has changed enough for you to allow it. The shock to the central nervous system broadens the amount of movements you can do, that has a direct correlation to the energy usage your body is automatically set at when you wake up in the morning, your BMR. You'd be surprised how many calories a body could burn at rest when it's been programmed to undergo extreme physical activity, for a prolonged period of time.
