Man i'm glad thats over, can you imagine the shit that Laker fans would have to put up with if we'd lost that game?
Great performance but i'm too apprehensive to say this will start a trend, you really have no idea which Laker team will show up from game to game.
Loved the defensive intensity, especially by Drew. He was active and anchored the paint, blocking and altering shots. Our game plan needs to stay the same, look for Pau and Drew early. It seems like when we do that we get good shots and our transition defense is better. Gasol played hard today, he may not be a bruiser but when he brings that type of energy he can hold his own.
The Nuggets will be tough, but they havent faced a team with big men that can score like Pau, Lamar and Drew. We have to use that advantage, Kobe will get his hopefully in the flow of the offense. The Nuggs have never had anyone who can guard Kobe so he should find things a lot easier.
Finally props to the Rockets, their fans should be proud of them. They are a team full of fighters and that showed in game 4 and 6, nothing but respect for a team that leaves it all out there like that.

Everyone came to play. The shots were falling and they didn't let up. Dwight, Lewis, Pietrus and Gortat were solid, and Turk really came through in a big way.
Defense was stellar. And yeah, Orlando got some calls and I'll take 'em. Hey, Orlando was owed them for game 4.
i think denver has the edge going into the west finals... played less games, and looking at the lakers they really are unpredictable. blow you away one night get blown the next. denver have been pretty consistant though, and i think they match up well.
melo v lebron for the finals, even though i'd like to see the magic there
I don't care any more at this point. The crap-ass, crying Celtics are out of it, and that's really all that matters. The media and the NBA have already decided this is Lebron's year, so I am not going to get all excited. If the Lakers get past the Nuggets, they'll lose to the Cavs in the Finals, according to the script, even though the Cavs have no business beating Magic in the play-offs.

Magic should have brought the series against the Celtics at a close in 5 or 6 games, but that's the Magic for you. Push comes to shove, right now, the Magic are one of the best, better than your Celtics (without Garnett).
And you can cry about not having Garnett all you want and that's fine, I wish Nelson was with the Magic, but what's the point? Celtics lost. Magic won. And no one is or should, take anything away from the Celtics. They have the most championship title wins of any NBA team and they won last year. Quit being sore about it.
I also find it interesting that everyone is talking about Cleveland advancing with ease, due to the fact Orlando clobbered the Cavs during the regular season, only losing one game at Cleveland thanks to a b.s. foul call and a three second call, one which was correct, but has suspicion all over it.
People argue that the Playoffs are different, but Orlando has had Cleveland's number and that's not gonna change. Home court advantage or not.
Dwight makes Lebron look mortal down in the paint and Orlando's big fowards present problems for the Cavs as a whole.
And SpaceMonkey has a point.
The NBA is a shady organization. I wouldn't be surprised if strings were pulled to secure a Lebron v Kobe Finals.
