3peat or Heat? Heat and San Antonio are the only 2 threats the Lakers face.

Honestly, out of all the top teams, Heat would be the least of my worries right now. I'd be more concerned about the Spurs, Celtics, Bulls, or maybe the Mavs.

Didn't the Celtics do a terrible trade? Pretty much everyone I know think they pissed their chances at another title.

Bulls are good, but won't win in a 7 game series against Lakers.

Spurs are a definite threat, but I just don't see them winning for some reason.

Same with the Mavs. One of their top guys just got injured, so that might be big. Besides, Mavs always seem to screw it up in the playoffs. Although, they do have a MUCH better defense than in previous years.

They traded Perkins and Robinson for Green and Krstic. I don't think it was smart, but they're still one of the best teams in the East.

Bulls have a better chance than the Heat, which is why they are more of a threat.

Same with the Spurs.

Same with the Mavs.

I'm not really sure you got what I was saying.

I guess not, I think the Heat will go far in the playoffs. I think they can get past the Bulls. Sure, they lost in the regular season, but the playoffs are much different. Day and night. I think the Heat can also take the Mavs in a 7 game series.

Boston, not so sure. Since they are a new team, inexperience might be a problem.

Heat are like 1-7 against the other top teams, they aren't going to suddenly play well in the playoffs if they haven't been doing it all season.

Heat being able to beat the Mavs in a 7 game series doesn't really mean much since the chances of them both being in the finals aren't really high.

Did you just call Boston inexperienced?

What?

They have the same team as last year (who took the Lakers to game 7) and most of the team has a championship ring.

I don't the Lakers are the team to beat. They're shaky and if Kobe has a bad game (it happens), they're ****ing screwed.

Kobe had bad games last playoffs/finals.

Anyway, one thing is for sure, the Magic suck.

I'm calling Heat inexperineced as a team in the playoffs, not Boston.

And the Heat had a rough start. Lost plenty of games, but the team now is much different than the start of the season.

They just lost to Chi and Knicks.

Like I said, regular season doesn't really matter. If Miami gets the second slot, they will have home court advantage in the play offs. For the exception of Boston, who will probably defeat Miami in a 7 game set.

Lakers are similar in the sense that they loose games they shouldn't, but turn it on in the playoffs.

I'm not saying Heat are going all the way, but they can beat most of the teams in the playoffs. Bulls, Knicks, Mavs, etc... The only teams that I think could beat them are Spurs, Boston, and Lakers.

Regular season matters, only teams who keep losing regular season games say they don't.

Except Lakers also win big games and they're a proven team with two championships.

The teams you think the Heat can beat have already proven they can beat the Heat...not so much the other way.

Basically, you think the Heat can do things they've yet to show. Do you happen to live in Miami?

No, I hate the Miami Heat. I hope Chicago rolls them flat in the playoffs. But you can't ignore the weapons Miami Heat has. I'm personally rooting for the Mavs. They haven't won anything big.

Their weapons need some ammo.

Miami will be a threat in the post season. So they lost regular season games but a 7 games series is another thing. Did anyone see how the Celtic preformed last regular season but once the playoffs start it was another story. Miami is second in the east and lead the league in point differential. Anyone saying they aren't a threat is seriously underestimating them.
