Peja is actually pretty good on D. He is very good one on one but does gets lost in transition at times. It's everything else that pisses me off. He could've become the closest thing to Larry Legend, yet now he's just a really good shooter who can't rebound to save his life, and is the wussiest player I've seen when it comes down to the last 6 minutes of the game.

EDIT: By the way Kool, don't know if you've heard about this. Its pretty funny.

Jackson: Kwame's a sissy

MILWAUKEE - In his unique and condescending way, Coach Phil Jackson questioned Kwame Brown's manhood Tuesday.

Brown has been out for almost three weeks with a strained right hamstring that was supposed to heal in two weeks.

He's on the six-game road trip but is not expected to play tonight in Toronto or Friday night in Chicago.

In fact, Jackson said, there is no timetable for Brown's return.

"I'm not putting pressure other than just call him (a sissy) every time I see him in the locker room," Jackson said.

Jackson walked into the locker room and pointed to a brown mink coat stashed on top of a coat rack.

"See, that's Kwame's," Jackson said

Man Kwame is probably going to go down as the worst 1st round pick ever. I remember before the Wizards drafted him, every scout was raving about him. Guess they didn't see how fragile he was inside the head.

Yeah i had read that, Jackson and his mind games again. Its frustrating watching Kwame play, im trying to be patient with him but when is he gonna realise he is 7-0, 270lbs? If he could just play with some passion and heart he could easily be a 15/10 type player. Obviously he is pretty fragile mentally from being an abused kid and i cant imagine what something like that does to your personality as you grow up, but as a Laker fan i just wish he would play up to his potential. He has all the tools to be a very solid PF, it just seems like he either doesnt know it or doesnt want it. Phil Jackson will keep digging at him until he shows some fire, if he can get Luc Longley to play decent ball surely its only a matter of time until Kwame breaks out (hopefully).

C-Webb went crazy last night. 28 points and 21 rebounds, and he played great on D against Garnett.

I've always liked Webber, many thought he was washed up but he can still ball and proved it last night.
There were quite a few upsets last night, the Hornets beating the Suns, the Jazz beating the Pistons and the LAKERS BEATING THE MAVS. Jeez that was a huge win for us on the road, Kobe was incredible down the stretch and the three he made to pretty much seal the game was, well Kobe. He also made a lay up that has to be in the top 10 plays this week, he drove past 3 Mavs and took off from one side of the key went around Diop and managed to flip in the lay up on the other side even though his body was behind the basket - unbelievable. Kwame also had his best game for us so far going 6-6 from the field and played tough D in the post. This has been the highlight of my season so far, beating the Mavs on their own floor is no easy feat.

yeah good game by the lakers. utah though against the pistons? wat a win that was! ak47 has been slowly working his way back, gradually getting more and more into the stream of scoring and scored 22against detroit. awesome stuff. 13 rebounds and 7 assists too i think, with 4 blocks? man... this guy is good! chris paul looks like teh real deal too, hes keeping the hornets afloat.

Yep i'm only hearing good things about Chris Paul. I've yet to see a Hornets game yet but from all accounts he is playing like a veteran PG. Its got to be the hardest position to play as a rookie because if you are responsible for setting up the offence, he seems to really play under control which is rare for a rook.

I can't wait to see where Adam Morrison and J.J. Reddick go to when the draft comes. Adam Morrison is just flat out crazy, and J.J Reddick does not miss at all. There both amazing.

Jesus, my Lakers have really been playing well recently. They ended a six game road trip yesterday 5-1, which is alot more than i'd hoped for. Their defense has improved so much and the ball movement has been fantastic to see. Kwame seems to be using the 7ft 270lbs body he's got to great effect finally and playing with a purpose. Odom is almost averaging a triple double for the season and Kobe has cut back on the shot attempts and is picking spots in the game to take over. I couldnt be happier with my Lakers right now (a win against the Heat on Xmas day wouldnt be a bad thing though), i realise it cant last but im gonna enjoy it while it does. Phil Jackson has got to take most of the credit for getting the best out of his players.

You should probaly just wait until March Madness. Do you get CBS, or ABC? I forget which one it is, i always get mixed up with those 3 letter channels. Its one of them though, and all the March Madness tournament games are on that channel and only that channel. So hopefully you get that. Thats what I did when i first started watching NCAA, i just watched March Madness. And trust me, when your watching, just pick a team right before the game starts that you want to win, and pretend they are your favorite team. It makes it that much more exciting. And IMO, Collage Basketball is better the the NBA. NBA player are horrible at free throws compared to NCAA players. They bareley ever miss. And when is come down near the end of the game, NCAA is usualy more exciting because they always find a way to score. And its never sloppy like a lot of NBA games.

NBA is still great though, but NCAA(especially during March Madness) is a little better IMO)

Oh and i heard the Lakers were trying to get Artest.

Unfortunately i only get BSPN, but i think they do put some college games on as it gets down the the finals. I'll definitely check it out this year, thanks for the advice.
As for Artest, i'd heard the Lakers are interested to (along with many other teams). I really hope it doesnt pan out, i like the chemistry the Lakers have now and a guy like Artest would destroy that. He is a great player and him, Kobe and Smush in the Lakers backcourt playing D does sound tempting. But team chemistry is really important, the Spurs and Pistons have shown that over the last few years and Artest does not bring that to a team.

Good chance my Blazers will get one of them big grin

This is what I have to say after viewing this years rookies and Blazer players. Either Martell Webster or Sabastian Telfair better become a bad ass. We had pick #3 and could have got Chris Paul. Instead we had faith in Telfair so traded away the pick. Instead of Paul, we received Webster and Jarrett Jack. This better pay off because it looks like we could have got Paul and traded Telfair for a quality SG.

Thats because the defense isn't as good as NBA wink

Anyway, March Madness is more exciting than NBA playoffs because every game is do or die. However, I prefer to have the better team win so a best of 7 is better in that case.

I too would like to see Artest land on the Lakers. As always, I like my least favorite team to have players that are easy to hate. Plus its a guilty pleasure to have Lakers good enough to really want to see them lose. Right now if the Lakers win its not a "SHIT!" reaction. Its more of a "oh well, they'll lose the next one." Thats not as fun.

Yeah March Madness is the best. I like do or die better, because underdogs have more of a shot to win, and the games are more exciting. I love when underdogs win, so i like the one game better.

I'm not so sure its the defense, i think its more the fact the NCAA players take their time and try to get an good shot, rather than shooting a long contested two 8 seconds into the shot clock like many NBA players do.

Oh, and you'll be really happy if Morrison goes to the Blazers. He is amazing.

The Sixers have won 4 in a row and are in first place by 2 games.

But still, the defense is a lot tougher. Just ask any fresh out of college rookie. They'll tell ya. But point is, everybody has their own reasons for liking one or the other. A high school game can be exciting but to me there is nothing like watching the best prove that they are the best. Thats why I like NBA and best of 7 series.

Royke, i share your apprehensiveness about Artest. Whichever team he goes to is gonna be better talent wise but if he ends up with a team he doesnt like its gonna end in tears. From what i've heard he wants to play in the Eastern conference, with the Knicks being his first choice. Even if he ends up on another team he'll probably bolt for NY once his contract expires anyway. He has shown that he doesnt value loyalty to his team with the way he's treated the Pacers.

I don't think the Pacers would give him up for Peterson and Boner (no mispelling) anyway.
