On the topic... Chick Publications' views are misrepresentations or distortions of general Christian or evangelical views, and are offensive and embarrassing. Chick misuses biblical verses for his own sick purposes. The publications promote and seek to win converts to a Christian fundamentalist view.

Yes.... but in is hard to separate propaganda from its aim to make people see as it want them to see.
Use it to demonize a group - say making American's seem bad to your average Russian peasant during the Cold War, you are still making a person want even more to follow you.
Often in a case of propaganda intended more to degrade someone/something as opposed to propaganda more intended to promote/glorify someone/something you still have the byproduct of people turning to whatever you represent.

Well, I personally happen to like Chick Tracts. I could care less for all of the conspiracy theories accusing Jack Chick of spreading his propaganda. Could it be paranoia?
