yeah I think he's going to hurt liz MAJOR big time but in the draft ted elliot has confirmed though it is only the beginning will still loves liz sooooooooo much he's trying to win her back...but he's sorta in league with sao feng...though what he did with the ship and all was forgiveable I think he'll end up doing something NO ONE can forgive him for...

I think thats just a taster of what Will is truly capable of doing..he's willing to hurt Jack and completley toss Liz's feelings aside to do so..he doesnt really love her so much..he selfishly loves her by this point IMO..meaning he doesnt CARE if she loves Jack...and he doesnt care if Jack loves LIz..he wants what he wants from the situation..which is the pearl to save his dad..and he wants to selfishly keep the woman away from the man she wants the most..meaning Jack cant have her..and she cant hve him
I doubt his destiny will play out that early on in the movie..its gonna be at the climax IMO..but its gonna be based on similar intentions ..
so if Liz chooses Jack later and will decided to stab her its going to be "if I cant have her YOU CANT JACK!" IMO

he hates jack for taking his woman away which it wasnt wills to begin with. and hes angry, not hating, bt angry at liz for letting herself fall in love with him. so it will be killing to birds with one stone Swann/Sparrow
i dont know if i am convinced Tia and Jack were once lovers... have the writers or the someone in authority confirmed this, or did we just infer it?
Because Tia is Spanish for Aunt... or some person in authority over you that you respect. making me wonder if Tia Dalma is more of Jack's mentor/guardian than ex-lover. ya know? like, she has known him his whole life and tends to get him out of scrapes.... but Jack hates authority and hates feeling dependent on someone, and thats why he doesn't like visiting her???
and then its like, Jack is embarressed to bring his friends home cause Tia has some wierd quirks (you want to know me...) like any authority figure... etc...
i dont know. just a theory. i think the other theory of Tia being in love with Jack is much hotter. lol.

Well, Naomie Harris said they were, and Jack has probably had a lot of girlfriends over time, so I think he at least had a physical relationship with her. She probably used the same line on him once and he saw how easily it is to be distracted by her when she uses the line on Will.
But I don't think he feels anything for her. He probably slept with her for hints about where a treasure was or something, or to get the compass.

yeh I did read that there is a confirmed HUGE back story for Jack/Tia.and how Jack seduced her..This was after what happened with Davy..she was uncontrollable like the sea..so she left Davy..and the only man who she will willingly be with? Jack of course
Liz is uncontrollable like the sea..Will wont be able to keep hold of her because she's now tasted Jack Sparrow and once you taste Jack you DON'T go back...because he is the waffle..the best part of the meal!
Jack is probably not interested in Tia..and this is a call back to the Odyssey but I cant be bothered to type it..basically they were probably just f*buddies..and the more Odysseus slept with Calypso..the more he started to hate that part of his masculinity..and..began to wish for love again because sex just wasn't enough to satisfy..its a very empty emotion..just having a feeling with nothing behind it but lust....etc etc .he learned to stop being so forward with his sexuality..

Yeah, the supplier is also know as the "The supernatural helpers" and Tia is definitely a performer of supernatural things...she is a "voodoo" queen or witch...and she helps Jack in his journey/quest to find his "heart" which is not really the heart of Davy Jones...but his heart, his soulmate - his love for Elizabeth and Liz's heart....gosh, Lovelyone you are so clever and you have awakened such an interest in me to look so deep into this movie..

aww thank you *blushes*..I think a lot of what I say is pretty far fetched at times...I mean my theories..some of them ring true like when I wouldn't stop arguing about Jack not really being happy in movie 1 and him needing to giving up material things because they cant satisfy him in life and he needs to change and "stick with a woman" or he will "perish" in the future as Beckett (well kinda implies and then we see Jack start to change for a woman in movie 2)..but others I'm dead wrong ..

yeah its like..Yoda, that elvish lady in LotR, rafiki, the oracle in the matrix. You get them all the time in stories about hero's..those really freaky supernatural people..
They always give the characters something too something "solid" to help them discover their true bravery..
Yoda if I remember gave him a light saber and taught him the ways of the force
Elvish lady gave them all objects to help them later
rafiki gave Simba his father again
the oracle gave neo a cookie and a whole massive wakeup call revolving around the cookie (if i remember correctly)

oh geee... yeah i read about Johnny and Naomy spending quite a bit of time coming up with their own back story... what happened between them and the exact feel of their relationship.... so thats interesting, and perhaps we will get some of that on the commentary or something.
If I were Tia Dalma, i would totally be in love with Jack. he's so damn interesting. and he;s such a chameleon... giving off the illusion that he couldbe many different people. you'd never get bored with him.
plus going back to the idea of locus of control... when people have a high inner locus of control, they often find it really exciting and fun to do a dramatic switch and have someone or something controlling them. which might have been part of the allure for Tia... to really feel controlled and manipulated by a human.
jack scares me sometimes (in a good way) because i really think he would be a MASTER seducer... if he got down to it and was intent on seducing someone, he honestly would be IMPOSSIBLE to resist.
he doesnt exactly do that with Elizabeth... he leaves it all very open ended (i think cause he respects her and wants her to come to him on her own terms, because she chooses to, not because she is manipulated to) and thats sweet.
but if you were ever in a situation where Jack was intent of seducing you, there wouldn't be any way out. seriously. lol. he's too good.
IMO I think Tia has known Jack for a long time, perhaps since he worked for EITC and she was the one to convince Davy Jones to bring up the Pearl for Jack. I don't thing they have had a sexual relationship, but I think she has taken to protecting Jack. The reason I say this is because Davy Jones made one heck of a deal w/Jack to the tune of 13 years til his debt was to be repaid. If the due date had been less, Davy Jones would have come after Jack sooner. Every time Jones takes a ship all those left are either killed or go into his service.
Tia tells Will, Gibbs, Jack et al that Jones cut out his heart because he hurt too bad over a woman that was too harsh. IMO she was too harsh because even though he brought up the Pearl to please her, he still had a tag on Jack for 13 years and she sent Davy to emotional hell for it.
IMO Jack has always stayed one step ahead of Tia sexually, by staying away from her and tell Gibbs "it's me front I'm worried about". But they have been "inseperable" and "knowing" of each other for a long time. Maybe the Brethern wanted to kill her mythological self for what she did to DJ and Jack intervened and they banished her to live above water in a human form and she cannot go back in the water but every ten years. Just like DJ cannot go on land but every 10 years.
T&T have said that AWE will have more about the background characters. I also think the Dragon Lady is a rival of Tia's and that will become a clash of wills too.
Will vowed to "kill " DJ for his father, so who else does he kill in order to kill DJ, thus the "dark side of ambition".

there is a "confirmed" spoiler that does suggest Davy thinks Jack "stole" (could be sexually) Tia from him..then Will becomes close with Davy for a while and they both learn that they share that little problem in common with Jack..he "steals" their women.which imo is in NO WAY TRUE..they just totally fall for him..but this time..he's fallen for Liz BACK!
So I'm guessing Tia/Jack were pretty close and there was that whole suggestion that they had had sex in that scene in Tia's hut..

Why was Jack searching for the "key" and do you think he knew DJ was coming for him? When Will asked Jack in Tia's shack if he knew what was in the chest, Jack replied "I did not". Do you believe Jack?

Yeah..and IMO its going to get the audience rooting for Jack/Liz..because Will's argument in movie 3 is " Jack is stealing Liz from Will and she's giving her heart to someone who "has none" I'm guessing if he mirrors Davy like T&T say in movie 3..then this means this argument is going to turn him into a bitter, selfish and horrible man..because
1. Jack isn't stealing Liz..when was he EVER forward with her in movie 2?..she did everything on her own impulse
2. Jack is fully capable of loving a woman..because we basically SEE the possibility in movie 2.
3. Just because Jack has been with Tia for a while..and left her...how the HECK does that imply that he cant ever be with another person?? He just hasn't found his soul mate yet..being with people and realizing they aren't right for you is human nature..and does that mean you can ever find true love??..does that prove you are incapable of loving someone ona long term basis? HELL NO...anything is possible when it comes to love and finding the right person for your self..
and if by movie 3..Will is trying to selfishly tear these two soul mates appart then I will be feeling REALLY sorry for Jack and Liz and would just WANT them to be happy together..and I would be HATING on Will...for a while
there is a WHOLE huge theme popping up about Jack and if he is capable of loving a woman on a long term basis..T&T keep gravitating towards that when they speak about Jack ..during movie 2 and movie 3

AND YOU! have just totally made me realize something lol..he is consciously trying to remove Will in the story because he is what stands in the way of him gaining the real chest..and he also stands in the way of him gaining the "other chest" tia hinted he's after..which is liz ..because he says to him "i did not know" when he DID LOL!..he went there planning ahead IMO

Yeah, T & T have said that Jack is a super trickster. I really believed that Jack did not know what was in the chest when I saw the movie the first two times, but now after 11 (yes to obsession) I think Jack knew what was in the chest and because Will is so bloody stupid, I think Jack was hoping that Tia would want to "know" Will, getting Jack off the hook with Tia and getting Lizzy for himself. I think he thought that Will would go for Tia in a big way otherwise why push bloody, stupid Will on Tia and make him sit next to her. All the dialogue in that room in search of the key or the Flying Dutchman could have been done with Tia directing Jack on the instructions not Will. IMO she wants Will separated from Lizzy, but she still is a champion to Jack or she would not have given him the dirt. She knows Jack is unable to make up his mind about Lizzy because of Will and Jack's unwillingness to give up his freedom quest for the Black Pearl. T & T have said that Jack thinks so far ahead of everyone and is constantly figuring what his next move is that he runs circles around everyone. When Lizzy confronts him on the beach and he admits to "time & tide" I think he was also lying to Will in Tia's hut.
Do we really think Tia is in league with Cuttler Beckett? That is hard for me to fathom. Did you notice Jack's reaction to the bottom of the Paprika can in the hut of the Pelocosos. The can said EITC. Which means they have been on the island, plus the little man with the English wig on. But why the reaction..
Johnny said that Gore and T & T left it up to him and Tia if there was a history and how much of a history. I hope they wake up and realize that Johnny made this franchise for them not the other way around. He is the franchise in the guise of CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow. 1.001 billion and still counting.
