Intresting, what PJ has to say about making the Hobbit more "epic" sounds like he will change it more than he changed LOTR.
I'm not too worried though, he did a great job with LOTR and I doubt he would take The Hobbit to far off course.

oh god, more creative licence.........dont get me wrong i love lotr movies as much as the next person but sometimes you gotta stop an think if it aint broke dont fix it.

Well, pointless making the Hobbit into two movies, you extract material from other Tolkien Lore to fit inthe place and when you make a movie about that, you repeat something done eons of times before as well.

That is indeed interesting. I think it would be smart to do the Hobbit as two movies. MGM is looking down the right path but they better make sure Peter Jackson is involved.

I don't like that at all.
And he hasn't wrested the rights from CJRT, right? Because that makes me more apprehensive than CJRT releasing The Children of Húrin next year....
