Background:
With the unearthing of the Necron tomb complex, an ancient beacon of the neverdying was activated, a distress signal of sorts. Harvester Fleet 79062 was the nearest and has chosen to respond to this fleet, under the direction of their lord, Shan'tahk. His past is rather irrelevant considering his elevation to his current state. His primary weapon of choice is a Warscythe, his former robes, black as they are, partially cloaking his somewhat hulking form (similar to the look of an Immortal). On his chest rests a phylactery, its powers having saved his existence on several occasions. The other item to note, is the orb he holds dear, a miniature gas giant on the few recordings that have survived of him, orange clouds swirling around on a blood red crystal sphere. Its pulses have been recorded as triggering mechanisms similar to his phylactery in other necrons around him, causing those considered dead to rise again and resume their fight in the name of the neverdying.

I dunno... the areas dealing with Chaos are a mystery between which ordo handles which situation.
Ordo Hereticus, the Witch Hunters, are normally operating inside the Imperium itself, rooting out cultists and abberant psykers who won't eventually become Astropaths.
Ordo Malleus, the Daemon Hunters, deal more often with the actual traitor legions, especially the Grey Knights. General Malleus inquisitors also operate within the Imperium, but more in the shadows, watching even the Hereticus to keep the taint of Chaos from affecting the Inquisition as much as the rest of the empire.
So if we've got a traitorous Inquisitor on the field, there'd definately be a Malleus Inquisitor if they heard of him, seeking to put his ass six feet under.

Kauyon often wears the standard Firewarrior armour, although he has been given training on the XV15 Stealth Suit and uses it on occasion. He has not, however, been given training on the XV8 Crisis Battle Suits or the XV-88 Broadside Battle Suit, mainly due to the Farsight Enclave's limited funds and number of Battlesuits. His main weapon varies depending on the nature of the mission, mainly pending between the Pulse Rifle and Pulse Carbine. He always carries a Pulse Pistol sidearm aswell as atleast 3 Photon Grenades. Other standard equipment include fragmention grenades, the Ta'lissera knife and a longer, unortodox short sword with which he engages in close combat or field works if he has to and a standard-issue binoculars. On Long-Range Recon missions he often carries entrenching tools, windshelters, axes, field rations and long range communication devices. On special purpose missions he may use explosives, marker lights, rail rifles, drone controls or similar exotic wargear.
His Firewarrior Armour is uniformly painted in maroon red and black to mimic Commander Farsight's Crisis Battlesuit, but he has, along with the men under his command, taken to painting their armour and weapons in cammoflauge colours during scouting missions or similarily, to match their environment.
Biography:
Kauyon is an 8th generation Farsight Tau, with his forefathers servitude ranging back to the first Hunter Cadre commadned by Commander Farsight, and for 8 generations his family has remained loyal to the Farsight cause and philosophy, that each Tau must choose a path of his own, and not blindly follow that of others, namely the Etherals. As such, he is undoubtedly loyal, yet not blindly so as with the regular Tau and their Etheral overlords, and has served under the Farsight Enclave as a Firewarrior since his maturity, and trained before that. A product of a completely militarised society uninhibited by civilian culture or influences, Kauyon knows nothing but the military way, and masters it with the discipline and efficiency only found in men that are raised to fight.
As his name hints, Kauyon is a Patient Hunter, and his role within the Farsight Enclave military reflects this as he has served as both a Pathfinder and a Stealth-suit bearer before his current position as the senior officer of a small scouting force compromised of 24 Firewarriors, 8 Pathfinders, 1 Pirhana, 1 Devilfish, 1 Orca Dropship, 2 Multi-Use Drone Squads and various weapons and equipment enabling them to establish and maintain a Run'Al, or Observation Post, as well as strike important strategical objectives in cue with the Farsight Enclaves limited manpower and specialised approach of warfare.
Kauyon himself can also act as a lone hunter on the field of battle, having been extensivly trained in Close Combat and Close Quaters Fighting aswell as infiltration, sabotage, Urban-and Guerilla Warfare. The rest of his small force follows the same pattern and are bonded in the customary Ta'Lissera, further increasing their ability to function as a self sufficient force behind enemy lines.

He stands about 5'5'1/2 inches tall so hes a very short comisar. He wears German WWII war general attire. He carys a long sword given to him from his adopted father who was also a comisar named Donald stevenson and trained Lidel in the art of warfare. Lidel is the comander of a squad of 20 guardsmen who were at one time under Stevensons comand along with a squad of 15 elite soldiers know as Karskins. All decided to have Lidel take comand over them case of his lack of fear in the face of the Tau and Nid armys and that even though Lidel has a burning hatred for the Tau he can still keep cool and not late his hated enemys take his attention from his goal. ( If haveing him hateing the Tau is a problem seeing as there is so many Tau players here just tell me and ill change it. Im basing him around a comisar that I have for the miniatures that somehow never dies. And all of my freinds play Tau and they tear my army appart so if it bothers you just let me know.)
That's why inquisitors are needed, I'm the puritan while you're the heretical one ^.^

Actually, an Inquisitor of the Ordo Hereticus would be the one to dispatch a Hereticical Inquisitor, Malleus come into play when there's actual deamons on the field.
Besides, the members of the Ordo HEretivcus hold the higest authority in the galaxy next to the God-emperor himself; not even the lords of Terra are safe from his reign as they can and will declare heresy on whomever they deem tratorous, save for the emperor, of course...

I might be mistaken, but I had thought Ordo Malleus was the order within the order, watching and persecuting even the Inquisition, stopping the taint of chaos with fire and steel. Oh well, not like it matters to me, I only play Guard among the Imperials, and damn near everything else.

Ordo Malleus: Deamon hunters, hunt deamon worshipers, kill deamons, investigate warp storms and have a secretive chapter of spacemarines called the Grey Knights, who are equiped far better than any regular marines.
Ordo Hereticus: hunt traitors, cults of deamon worshipers and rogue psykers. Use sisters of battle in place of marines.
Ordo Xenos: hunt aliens and negotiate very one sided treaties with them. They draft spacemarines from other chapters to find the most versitile squads and equip them with the best alien killing war gear. These teams are called deathwatch kill teams.
