It doesnt actually matter if there is no depth in the rlationship what matters is whats onscreen and how people repond to it...when I first watched the movie and like many others I though "wow these two work great on screen I can see what Disney are doing..clever disney"
now I realize they are not going to do it??
well IMO they are ****ing insane..I mean sure take risks but they got 1 BILLION for DMC..movies only EVER do that when something is working very well on screen and Jack is totally the money of the movie so it cant really be anything else except him and Keira being together onscreen

they expect people to constantly be in love with a character who doesnt change ever?? Seriously even characters like Jack Sparrow can get boring if they DONT develop or show an arc..The critics warned you Disney and the audience are giving you the biggest hint of your life why didnt you TAKE IT?
movie 2 showed us Jack developing and it was even more of a success than the first..HELLO jack and DEVELOPMENT = GOOD = 1 BILLION compared to 360 million

It means that everyone is going to die, they are going to kill everyone off, because nobody wants to come back to do another POTC except Johnny, So that means Jack is going to go solo, probably with a wooden leg or a hook. And the movie is going to be title Pirates of he Caribbean: Jacks Lonely and Miserable Life.

meaning Wll and Elizabeth are being written out of the franchise and end up together..Jack is going to come back in a 4th and be exactly the same as he was in movie 1 searching for one goal and one goal alone.to become immortal no doubt.back to his old selfish ways wanting what he wants and thats it not caring about anyone else..YAWN been there and seen that..
seriously why even make a sequel to show us that Jack can be in love..Will/Liz can actually be strong as characters and stand alone without their main arcs being each other..then have them wind up together and Jack be exactly the same as he was in movie 1

I swear T&T are just trying to show us that they can do a movie and not be compared to Star Wars and have it be successful they have a weird problem with being compared to star wars..STAR WARS was a succsess because they gave the right character the girl...they knew what they were doing and it WORKED..they knew what was hot and they put it TOGETHER..because they KNEW the audience would love it..
seriously Disney are about to screw up big time IMO. This is probably why they are releasing it on the same day at the same time because people will all rush to see it at once expecting J/E etc and if they leave dissapointed it doesnt matter they will at least get a good fraction on the opening weekend because if it doesn't end J/E word of mouth cant spread about the W/E ending in other countries before its released there..

You would think Disney would get the right idea of where to go with the character of Jack at the ending AWE by simply comparing which movie did better..movie 1 or movie 2?
I remember in an interview with T&T talking about DMC/AWE being one story. They were trying to write DMC/AWE on the successful formula they used with movie 1, where Jack is just the thing in the story whilst events unfold around him...and W/E hook up..
but what a mistake because they end DMC in the middle of the story where it looks as if Jack is developing and is going to get the girl and the movie actually does BETTER than movie 1 because the audience LIKE that kind of pattern more where Jack develops and gets the girl and is not the thing used so that Will can win out....1 BILLION for gods sake...
They are now screwd because they have already shot most of 3 by the time they released movie 2
