Not that I'm being stupidly optimistic, but resolution when used here just means that the relationship will have closure of some kind. That could mean anything from a wedding to a death to an official break up. It just means we aren't going to be left hanging about how their relationship is going to go.

Okay i made my weekly trip to kttc. so i guess i know what happens at the end of the movie... and im very disappointed with the deadness of this forum!!!!!!!!!
They want to know how it ends because Disney has built up the concept of a surprise ending, when in fact the ending is not all that shocking. It's a marketing ploy and it worked fairly well. All the fans of POTC have bought it hook, line and sinker. They'll make billions. You have to hand it to them, they're clever, clever chaps. On par with Jack Sparrow...

Well...it appears i've wasted 10 months on nothing...it's hard to believe that all this stuff they put in DMC meant nothing...what a waste of time...i won't be rushing out to see this movie...because yes i'm a pirate fan, but I'm a j/e, jack sparrow fan..and i hate the way this movie ends....hate it...so once i'm over the hurt of being used an abused then maybe i'll go see it....or maybe just wait for the dvd to see johnny as jack...i knew it...i tried to stay positive and now just like everything else lately...i'm left disappointed....why do i feel like i've just been kicked in the gut.....
well, goodbye my friends...it was a great and fun ride...right up till the end....

I feel disappointed,especially in TnT.I had so much faith in them.I know the movie will be great.I liked POTC1 too,but DMC was a masterpiece.If the third ends WE,and if it ends Elizabeth waiting for him for ten years,and living such a so called married life,I say TnT ruined the end.I still go and watch iz,because I'm sure it's good,but let me tell you :Men including TnT haven't got any sense of romance at all.At least I hope there are some Sparrabeth moments.Sorry for bringing you down guys.I just couldn't keep it in myself.
The powers that be at Disney didn't like Sparrabeth ending. That's why right up till the ninth hour they were still editing the damn film (or so they say.) TnT wrote it Sparrabeth, IMO. Someone changed it. We're not deluded - the ambiguity could work both ways. But what I don't understand is why did Jerry B talk about love triangle when there isn't in AWE? Weird...are the KTTC Forum people to be trusted?
Why can't Will and Liz **** each other in CotBP so that we don't even need to waste our time on Sparrabeth then don't get our happy ending? Instead, Will and Liz have to **** in AWE? It's like a very long foreplay, IMO.
I might sell my tickets now. Don't feel like watching the movie anymore. Just wait for DVD to come out to watch only Jack's scenes.
I feel nausea and i hope won't get sick in the movie watching their 'love scene'.You might be right about TnT and Disney,because even in POTC1 and DMC there were so many great JE moments.Why o why can't there be such thigs in AWE.What were all these 'you long for freedom',and you will come over my side I know it' Jack said,when she ends up not bein free at all,living in ano real marriage lonely waiting for her husband for years?Is it a kickass ending,is it a bittersweet ending?It's tragic.Maybe i wear Sparrabeth colored glasses,but how can this be a happy ending,or resolving the problems.Maybe it is a resolution for Will.But it's a sexist alternative.
Elizabeth was so ready to be married.I don't think she dreamed of such a married life.
I'm still on Sparrabeth and I won't abandon this ship. I won't be like rats. No way. I think it's much more better to be on ship than lost in sea. I'll go to watch the movie to the cinema, because if there is Willabeth ending(I hope not) I need to see it. I do not believe into that spoilers or whatever it is. And I am Sparrabeth by heart
