i went to the first showing and a lot of people were clapping when Clark finally made it to the daily planet. Interesting to think how they will go from there and how they will make Clark and Lois interact since she knows his secret from the get go.
I went with 10 people and no one came out disappointed. GA seemed to love it. I overheard one chick saying "I thought I was going to be bored. But it was a lot of fun"
[SPOILER - highlight to read]: people say that they couldn't believe that superman fought the kryptonians with such reckless abandon, discounting all the collateral damage in their wake.. but you have to understand that clark grew up being bullied by humans and not being able to fight back.. so for the first time, he sees some bullies that he is able to fight back.. pardon him for wanting to get all the rage out.. and i'm pretty sure those buildings were empty.. with that spaceship hovering above and all that earthquake/gravity bullshit, the last thing i wanna be inside it is a potential jenga tower made of concrete and metal.. as for the drone he blew up, oh well..
also, this is his first outing as superman.. i think he will evolve greatly in the upcoming sequels.. this is an introduction to a new kind of superman.. and what an introduction it is..

I think she's too short for action scene, especially with cape. The fighting scene is a bit weird because of her height, other than that she's pretty, but not that menacing like Ursa in Superman II if we put the special effects away.
Yes, but the problem is that wasn't portrayed in the movie. You have to make assumptions and you can make all kinds of assumptions, I just wish they scripted in some solid "I care about collateral damage". Or him bringing the fight elsewhere, as I said they were there specifically for him.
