Yu Ominae is in high school, but he's not just a student. He is a member of Arcam Corporation's elite armed force known as Spriggan. The Arcam Corporation's mission is simple: to make sure that powerful ancient artifacts are protected and sealed off, so that no nation in the world can take advantage of them. In a recent excavation though, Arcam discovers a legendary artifact like no other -- Noah's Ark. But Noah's Ark turns out to be no ordinary vessel. It has data on the various life forms on earth, and anyone who gains control of the Ark can choose to destroy everything and start a new world by creating new life. Arcam must do everything in its power to keep the Ark from falling in the wrong hands... and Yu Ominae is just the guy for the job.
If you’ve been watching anime for very long then you’ve probably heard something about this. Many of the things I’ve heard were comparisons to Akira which some people consider to be one of the standards for anime. It’s funny that people would compare the two because Otomo was the producer for this.
All the hype is true. It has spectacular animation, great musical scores, and a spectacular plot. It is most certainly worth your time.

Now, living with the Sohma family, Tohru is in the middle of ancient conflicts between Zodiac rivals as she wears the burden of the Sohma family secret. Despite this, the members of the Sohma family find a new peace thanks to the presence of Tohru.
I’ve been really torn on how to rate this show. So I did some research.
Most people rate this extremely high. The lowest score I’ve seen for it is 8.8 out of 10. If I were rating out of 10 I probably would have given it a similar score. However, I’m rating out of 5 and everyone else has given it a 5 out of 5. Why? Because of the fantastic story, interesting characters, and fantastic ups and downs. This show will have you crying one minute then laughing the next…however. The ending is fairly dissatisfying. As strong as many of the episodes are it deserves a very strong ending but it ends like so many other animes.
4 out of 5 – I actually liked it enough to be a 5 but I can’t rate things judging solely on my favor.

When little kitten Nyaako’s soul is stolen by Death, she and her brother Nyatta embark on a bizarre journey to get it back. In the surreal dreamscape of the Other Side, they encounter many fantastic characters and remarkable, often disturbing adventures.
Disturbing doesn’t even begin to describe this. I think the best word to describe it is: (please log in to view the image)
There’s no better way to put it except maybe: (please log in to view the image)
The whole thing is kind of disturbing and unsettling. Entertaining though it may be, that entertainment comes at the price of your own sanity and natural perceptions of the real world. Not sure if you should take the risk.
oh yeah, NOW AND THEN, HERE AND THERE.
{btw if u liked bloodlust, ur probably gonna like trinity blood too, of only for the art and often sluggish pace}

One girl washes up on shore – naked, scared, and alone. The other uses psychic weapons to make a blood-soaked break from captivity. One is named Nyu. The other is Lucy. The two couldn’t be more different – if only they didn’t have to share the same body! When star-crossed students Kohta and Yuka rescue Nyu on the beach, they’re blissfully unaware that she’s a diclonius, a mutant bred to replace humanity. To make matters worse: she’s escaped from captivity, leaving a trail of dead in her path and the world’s most lethal hunters on her tail. As the rooms in Kohta’s rented house fill with runaways and diclonius – danger mounts outside. But, what’s more dangerous? The monsters beating down the door or the demons within?
Geez…this was a tough one for me to finish. There’s a book in the back of my head filled to the brim with tricks shows use to attain an audience. Elfen Lied plays to gore, violence, and fan-service nudity which all fit into that book. Of course there is a decent plot hidden underneath all that flair. (Can nudity really be called flair? Just wondering) At first what I tried to do was subtract the gore, violence and nudity so that I could get a good picture as to what the show’s about. The show is dark and brooding. The nudity is rarely flattering and if you’re the kind of person that gets off on it then you probably need to see a psychiatrist.
It’s a decent story all tags aside but I’ve never been one to destroy a show just because of it’s tags.
4/5 Okay story and the action is a bit over-the-top but every once in a while that’s good.
Avoid it if you don’t like nudity.

Niwa Daisuke is your average teenager, until his fourteenth birthday. He tries to declare his love to the girl of his dreams but fails. Suddenly, whenever he thinks about this girl, he turns into the legendary phantom thief known as Dark Mousy. Daisuke's mother, very much aware of this, makes him turn into Dark and steal valuable works of art for a purpose unknown to Daisuke. As the story unfolds, he learns why and about his classmate who seems to have the same ability.
Light-hearted and somewhat comedic this show has a somewhat juvenile taste to it, with light overtones of possible romance.
The good things I can say about this show are few. It actually gives you closure. That’s nice. It delivers humor and romance within good tastes. That is also good.
Aside from that the story isn’t very gripping and the twists aren’t that interesting.
I think I’m going to go back to watching Panzer Dragoon for a little while so I can remember why I’m doing this.
Armitage III (please log in to view the image)
Ross Syllabus is a Chicago cop who lost his partner in a battle with a cyborg. He's just been transferred to Mars as an expert on robots, but before he's even left the spaceport he spots a group of suspicious people who turn out to be a madman with cyborg bodyguards. With the help of his soon-to-be partner waiting in the terminal, Naomi Armitage, he stops the cyborgs, but their leader escapes. The plot thickens when they find that the group was carrying the body of a robot who was impersonating a popular country singer. At the MPD office, Ross and Armitage are paired up in the investigation of this unusual crime. As it turns out, someone is murdering robots--rare and illegal Third Types, nearly indistinguishable from humans--who had been living undetected as humans. Ross is already uncomfortable with the investigation, and when he finds out Armitage herself is a Third, he doesn't know what to make of the situation. Matters are further complicated when he is severely injured in a confrontation with the murder, and has to have large parts of his own body replaced with cybernetics. All the while, the threat of war with Earth looms overhead, and these crimes appear to be related somehow. Armitage becomes a wanted robot, and Ross must choose between her and his prejudices.
Wow! That was long huh? A bit too long if you ask me. If you read all that you might as well avoid the movie. You’ve pretty much watched it already. Hah!
If you watch it in dubbed in English you get to hear Keifer Sutherland as Ross. Not bad but it doesn’t actually fit the character very well. Subbed is better this time.
The story is good. Kind of Blade Runner meets Total Recall.
4/5 – You can certainly find worse out there.
There is another movie involving this character so it should be interesting to see where all this goes.
