I won't deny I find Johnny Depp much more attractive than Orlando Bloom, but I think some people base it on how they feel the characters should really feel. I'm a huge Raoul/Christine shipper, but I'm more attracted to the Phantom.
Hmmm... that's funny. I'm actually more attracted to Raoul. Sometimes i get this wierd craving for some dude who's going to protect me and be the stable force in my life.
But the phantom is pretty cool. How could you possible resist a man who took you on a boatride with candles everywhere? Seriously. the man is unfathomable. deep. that's the kind of man you could spend your life with and still enjoy.
Hello everyone. I just registered. I don't have a lot of time to talk but I read the last comment, and I do find Johnny more attractive (not just looks but acting as well), but that's not why I ship J/E. It's all about chemistry.

I love both Orlando and Johnny. I know ivebeendepped sooner or later will come here and offend, like always.
But, honestly I'm more familiar with Johnny because I "known", I guess you could say, on screen since I was 5.
I have nothing against Orlando. If Im a JE shipper is because of what I see in and how I like them together, it's not because I don't like Orlando. It would be very stupid of me to say that.
I don't mean that you don't LIKE Orlando, I meant, who do you find more attractive? It's not a "You either like Depp or Bloom", it's more of which one tickles your fancy more.
Okay... first of all, yes i've read the appendix, i really enjoyed the aragorn and arwen story and liked them a lot in the books. But in the movie i could not for the life of me get into them. WTF was up with her see through blue lingerie outfit in film two? Probably the same thing that was up with destroying Faramir's character and killing Saruman on a spike. But I digress...
Laurie and Jo were meant to be, but then I got cynical and started identifying with the professor. That's all I'm going to say.
Im going to make a scary confession. I like Orlando better than Johnny Depp. I don't like Johnny Depp that much, actually. I think he's extremely talented (more talented/versatile that Orlando) but kind of creepy and hard to get. He's cool as anything, but if you're asking me which guy I would rather date or chill out with, I'd say Orlando hands down. He's adorable. Not the sort of dude I'd marry, but I'm not into any celebreties like that. My deal is with Jack Sparrow. It's that character I'm obsessed with, and the way JD plays him. But can you imagine trying to have a conversation with JD? That would just be wierd in my mind. Not only would I be really intimidated, i doubt we'd have anything in common. Orlando could be a regular mate, the kind you go out for drinks with.
So yeah, I reckon you would say I would go for Orlando over Johnny. But neither would hold my attention for long, I don't think.
Its not about who's hotter. Maybe others would be stupid to think that they rather see Lizzie with Jack because he is hotter than Will, its not about looks. Some do think so, but at least me and kate, Misty and others don't think so. Its about the chemistry. Its about how when you see Jack and Liz together, that you feel the tension, and the sparks.

Exactly the dynamic that Both Jack and Lizzie have on Screen is just amazing and really u cant help but just keep watching.....they make it interesting, the chemistry they have just works and jumps of the screen and into the audience. See they never confess anything, but u feel it because sometimes A LOOK speaks FAR MORE than words!

Who is more attractive to you? Jack Sparrow or Will Turner?
I don't give a whit about chemistry, that isn't part of the question. I don't care if you'd love to chill with Orlando. That isn't the question. The question is, which character do you find more attractive?

I read your post above about Johnny and I don't feel like you know much about him. He is a really lovely, modest, shy guy. If he comes across as awkward and mumbly in interviews that's his shyness shining through. He may not be talkative and uber-excited all the time like Orlando and Keira but that doesn't mean he isn't interesting. No one who works with him has a bad word to say about him. Wouldn't hold your attention for long? Umm, okay...
