Yeah, that was a confusing post. Sorry. You should probably just disregard it. No, it's not that she has faith in Jack. She doesn't have a fault with her plan. But circumstances could have turned out to backfire, you know? Not her fault, not really Will's fault. All I'm saying is that it was possible that she could have found Jack first and then they would all be at Square 1.

yeah, well i always find it interesting she chooses to believe Jack over Norrington, who has never lied to her and up till now has been the model of noble. she knows Jack is a good man but a pirate and will do anything to get his own way. Why on earth does she trust him, believe him, join him?
My simple answer: the look on his face and his eyes when he says "it points to the thing you want most in this world." she's hooked at that point.
this movie has so much sexual tension its kind of out of control. every scene has some really obvious reference. are the writers just horny, or the actors just have too much chemistry, or what?
i still get a bit shocked when i watch parts of it. its the lashing and the kiss that get me. they seem way out of character for a disney film. sorry to be redundant.

I like in the curiosity scene when Liz asks him, "why doesn't your compass work"? And Jack looks down and sees the canon and says, "My compass works fine" Nor like your eunuch finance I have a pretty big cannon. Ok they should have added that line, It would have make total sense.

I like the good girl bad boy image in movies. Why is it that the girls always tries to turn the bad boy to a good boy. Good girls are always attracted to bad boys, but they want a bad and good boy at the same time. That always work for me in movies. Kinda of like the J/L relationship, ironic.
