Yeah basically that is what I meant. Both of them use weapons to focus thier powers, but they both have those same powers without thier focal points.

It's either non-canon or a different (non 616) universe.

The JLA has referenced the fact of Khrona/Cosmic Egg, and that the league was assisted by the Avengers to stop him

Marvel Handbooks mention and reference the JLA/Avengers team-up.

It's canon and it was the 616 universe merging with the main DCU.

Ok, as the guy who prides himself on Orion knowledge, I must say he's physically superior in every way to Thor. H2h, he gets murdered.

That damned hammer is what wins him the fight, sure...Orion has the AS AND the Motherbox (which can duplicate nearly any mjolnir feat), but he's not too keen on using the MB and he only uses the AS for blasting. So, although he's awesome, Orion would indeed lose.

Goodday!

Yeah, lp knows his stuff concerning this fight. I'm inclined to agree wholeheartedly. If Thor's smart, he wins. If he makes it a brawl, he's in trouble.

Tho accoring to forum rules they both would fight at maximum. And ORion has shown the ability to use the astro-force in multiple ways.

I agree with Long Pig. Though Thor is pretty close to Orion in strength, Orion is a guy who tore himself from the Source Wall with his own force, which is something Darkseid couldn't even do.

If Thor fights smart, he wins. Because of Mjolnir, this is honestly his fight to lose.

Exactly how much power would it require to put Orion down? IF this orion fighting like he did DS from the Orion Series, I dont' see Thor having any fight to lose.

Thor and Orion are close in strength which Orion can increase with the Astro Force, Thor has held his own against beings that where stronger than him. But in strength Orion and Thor are equal without Orion using the Astro Force that's my imop, durability will go too Thor but Orion does have healing factor, fighting skills they are pretty much equals but expiernce goes to Thor, and epending how they fight each other whoever fights smart it's a drag out fight a brawl I can see Thor winning at least half, if doesn't fight stupid like he did in JLA v Avengers.

Thor and Orion are mirror images of each other but are written differently then from each other, Thor would win the majority in a all out battle since he has more fighting expeirnce than Orion, in h2h combat it's a toss up depending who can capitalize on one another mistake that will determine the winner; Thor's hammer is the acein this fight it can absorb a lot of energy and dish out tremendous physical damage which the hitting force can be increase by Thor's rage, and the hammer can be thrown at light-speed.

Thor in a all out battle wins 6.5/10

Thor v Orion h2h tossup, and I explain why.

Personally, I found that outcome extremely surprising. I tend to think of Orion as a helluva lot tougher.

Still, I think Thor takes this.

After a deep check on the respect thread, I state that Orion can take this 8/10.
Even letting his destructive rage and his wild side going out, that would still be an advantage to him.
Thor on his side got Warrior Madness and then his last resort assaults, Anti-Matter, Anti-Force and GodForce, and he has shattered a Celestial dome with his hammer, but it also caused Mjolnir to be shattered in pieces. Now Orion with brute strength and astro force has done feats that outmatch even Mjolnir and Thor's physical strength, like the Source Wall feat.Only a very bad written Orion, acting like a brick with some energy blasts can lose to Thor. The Odinson will go all out like he did only with Thanos probably but will find his defeat after a great and devasting fight against his most dangerous opponent.A good end for an Asgardian Prince.
