As a matter of fact, no. George Lucas has stated (as well as numerous other comic book and novel sources, which were under the eye of GL), that Luke Skywalker, by the time of NJO (New Jedi Order), is by far the most powerful Jedi that ever existed, closely followed by DE SIdious (Dark Empire).
But I'm not here to argue, I want the phucking demo and I can't get it.
OXM said the story is the game's strongest point, so im excited to see it unfold. I like the voice actor who is doing Vader, he sounded pretty close to the real thing in the demo.
I just played through the demo a couple of times. It seems like a good weekend rental. I cannot see this game being worth $60 from what the demo offered. This is no God of War with a light Saber. It is more like playing as one of the Jedi's from Battlefront 2. the controls are simple and easy to pick up, but it still feels like the jedi experience from any other Star wars game. Granted the controls are much smoother and tight, than say...,Jedi academy, but they still feel to loose for my liking. DEstroying shit was a lot of fun, but by the time i played through the demo three times, i had more than enough. Hopefully, the full game will offer more in depth controls and broader gameplay.
Whats up with the no lock on's?

demo wasnt bad, found myself playin it a few times, i think if the reviews are great, and i can get the money i might pick it up, if the story is also very good, thats also a must....since that trailer that comes at the end of the demo was amazing
I downloaded and played the demo. Actually, I played it many times
I found many of the power ups, the health one, unlimited energy, and damage increase ones. And I must say, I thought it was really good, I don't quite see where the criticisms are coming from in here, I thought the controls were solid, didn't take long to get used to them. I didn't have troubles flinging objects and people anywhere, it was no problem, 8 out of 10 times they went where I wanted them.
I didn't feel the demo was too short at all, it was just a demo, allowed us to play the game before its released, what more could I ask for right now? The ONLY problem I really encountered was that I would think I was targeting something, so when I went out of my lightsaber blocking blaster shots to pick someone/thing up, it would be something different and catch me off guard.
But I could live with that, I thought this game was really good for a demo. I will be definately picking this one up, and am excited for it. I am much happier after I played it then when I was just watching videos on it.
Yeah, i didn't really need the lock on function in the THREE minute demo, but im sure it will be useful in the full game. I also hope the saber throw isn't broken in the full game. Sometimes when i throw my saber it never comes back. I don't mean it takes 10-20 seconds to come back, i mean it NEVER comes back haha. I'm sure it is just a bug in the demo, but you can't be a jedi without being able to throw your light saber.
