clearly someone does care...otherwise he wouldn't have brought it up...i frankly don't care what is and what isn't canon...he made a factual point (in that it's not set in "the dark times" as per the comic) and the mods are threatening to ban him, not because he's trolling, but because he has put up an argument you dont agree with and he's sticking to his guns
not to mention that the force unleashed isn't generally regarded as canon anyway thus it's not any more or less relevant than any other piece of EU starwars
i only have your word for the allegations of spamming...and they're not relevant to what was said anyway which was a threat of banning for saying that TFU not being in the "dark times" is trolling...when it's factually not trolling...he's not saying anything to deliberately upset other members...some people are just too high strung and go off on one at what he's stated which, as i've said, in the context he put it in, isn't wrong
That would be wrong, actually. With George Lucas' direct input in crafting the story, and his blessing, technically TFU is to be considered as canon. It is what GL says happens between RotS and ANH.

Like i said, tfu is short and sweet. and to me, it was perfect that way. The upcoming dlc, although it's not needed, In My Opinion, should compliment it well, as any expansion should.

Don;t start shoving your nose in to things like this. That's not even vaguely what I said. nac deliberately makes contrary comments just to annoy people and has been doing so for some time. he is doing exactly the same here, deliberately winding people up by trying to say the game is not set 'between' the films and then delivberately trying to use an obscure comic reference as a way to try and weasel out of his ridiculousness (the films clearly portray the Dark Times as the time since the Empire came to power, of course).
This is an attitude Nac has been showing all over the boards and I am calling time on it. I will ban him for it if it goes on- don't get yourself involved.
FOTN, if you keep making posts with no content other than attacks and bashing you will be banned' I wille cho Peach's comments in that respect. Luckily, as I say, peop;le can easily see which argument makes sense in that discussion.
It is, btw, true that GL's involvement in TFU is marginal and that doesn;t canonise it any more than his small inputs in the EU over time. As I say, TFU's canon status, even inside the EU, is exceptionally tenuous and llikely to be overwritten.

he didn't make the obscure reference after the fact either...he stated it quite clearly early in his argument...and just because it's a comic doesn't make it any more of less valid than a game....as for saying the comic is "obscure"...hardly..they're actually pausing production of it in order to not impact the clone wars comic series for 6 months....both of which are published by dark horse comics
as for your claims he's doing it all over the board...it's not for me to say either way because i've not been in those threads or if i have i've not noticed the posts you refer to.
well then i'll consider myself warned...but the fact is...i'm still right and you're still wrong and attempting to bully people into silence by threatening them with bans wont change that fact
and given that spamming is advertising and trolling is deliberately trying to take a thread off topic...he was doing neither...if you're going to enforce the rules it might be advisable to know what you're talking about when referring to spamming and trolling...just a friendly suggestion

Frankly, I am shocked that again this mob mentality has sprung upo to try and defend something as shocking and obviously either stupid or trolling as Nac deliberately provking argument by saying that TFU is not set betwene Episodes III and IV (and trying to use the name of a comic book as justification, which makes absolutely no sense related to the name 'Dark Times' used in the films, and he knows this perfectly well. Really, really shocking, and those of you defending his behaviopur, which is purely done to aggravate others, should be ashamed. Unfortunately you are too caught up in your faux moral stance where you see yourselves a victims to see that, so the warnings will have to do instead.
You were shoving your nose into a disciplinary issue. You do not question or argue moderator decisions in the threads. This has been a constant issue lately and it may have to be one where bans are handed out more quickly in future, to make the point. one thing to ask...because, ironically, i dont have the game yet...is it worth the £40 most places are asking or should i just borrow it from a friend who's done with it?
