Anyways, I think he was speaking in riddles, if you would ban him for being a Nickelback fan (no better reason than this imho) then he would sock...yes, that's what he said.
do you not think the problem might be that fans will simply expect them to play their old repertoire which was highly relevant (in the case of rage) when the songs were initially recorded...and perhaps might not be given the chance to be fresh and innovative
you see that alot with old bands whereby when they reform...the fans simply wait for them to break out the old tunes at gigs and are generally luke warm to any later stuff...
i saw this in particular with the who at T in the park last year...
For one, I don't think so. It stopped at 2 (and to be precise, I'm not gonna refer to what you said... "originality/freshness/etc..." I'm talking about a significant contribution to the art of music).
And second, they "brought it"....they don't "bring" anything anymore...and I think the reason they broke up might tell a lot about that...(Apart from the obvious!! )
