According to the Vanity Fair article about the game, there will be a twist comparable to the "I am you father" moment. It will have to do with the formation of the Rebel Alliance.
yea. well its been replicated before in what i think would have been a bigger twist if it had had another game leading up to it, i think we all know what im talking about

THere are many things that have claimed that... and only one that I can think of has delivered. Kotor 1. Kotor 2 tried, but failed so miserably that the characters weren't even suprised.
I would love another one of those big twists. Like Kapton JAC said the only comparable twist in the video games like the "i am your father moment" is the Revan twist in kotor 1.
the revan twist wasnt actually that good. from the second you start having the visions you know you are revan. plus when the thing on dantoine (the computer) pretty much recognizes you.
dont reallly care. it surprised me because i just bought the game and played it hoping to find out why i woke up naked on a mining district in kotor 2. i expected it to be me being the exile and getting exiled so...
and of course, star wars 5 was far higher budget and better acting. and you really never saw it coming because vader is like the epitomy of pure evil.

whereas revan has a few cutscenes/visions and references throughout the game and vader appears throughout two movies as the singular and primary antagonist.
