*Champion steps out of a bush, nuzzling him some* Come on.... The humans will take care of the pup.... I can smell them already.... *She stays close to Carbo, shaking some afraid of him getting hurt by the humans*
Carbo turned and watched Champion. "No, you do not understand, miss Champion" Carbo said, sighing. "I did this to her, and I'm not going away from here until I see she is properly escorted away. Shoot me if they need, but I'd never be able to rest properly if I do not know she will be taken care of" Carbo said, licking the wound once more. He scuffed Kiri a little, to see if she woke up, without result. "You should go, Champion. If they turn out hostile, it's not necessary for both of us to be here"

*Champion looks at Carbo. "Carbo... I know of a nearby village of humans.... they will help her.... They are natives from here, they dont hunt us.. I can take her there..." She looks at him hopfully, having been let loose from a trap by the natives before, and hearing the native speak of other humans angerly, like they arent wanted here*
Kova stood, facing the female. she didn't want to look at her. She remeinded her of.. of someone she knew. Lowering her head Kova growled softly.
" Go,wolf. Do not wait around here to get shot. She'll be taken care of."
At that moments the bright lights of a truck could be seen coming closer. Kova stood, and kiri's eyes fluttered as she looked on. She whispered something inaudible into Carbo's ear, and then told him to go. she licked his nose softly and then smiled at Champ, licking her paw respectfully.
Carbo hesitates a little, slowly getting up. He lower his head and watches Kiri on the ground. He place one paw on the pup, as a final goodbye before he see how the lights approaches and he turn around and slowly walk away "Goodbye, Kiri. Good luck" He whisperes, walking up next to Champion. "Let's go" He said to her, avoiding eye-contact with Kova.

Just as the man stepped out of the large jeep, Kova whipered, trotting around him with her tail between her legs, her head bowed. The man looked on, and saw the blood. He grabbed Kova's chin and stared her in the eye. He noted the lbood on his hands and looked away, toward Kiri.
" Damn it , Kova!. "
The large black wolf dog flinched, her electric blue and yellow eye becoming mixed under her deep black eyelids. she stood back as her master walked forward and lifted the bleeding pup off the ground.
" I don't know if your gonna make it. Well, worth a shot I guess. "
He lifted her into the truck and stopped Kova before she jumped in,
" Im afraid youre going to have to wait. I just dont trust you with this one. "
he pulled a steel chain out of his truck, and looped it around a tree before clipping it onto her spiked collar.
Kova was crushed. her differently colooured eyed narrowed as he drove away. she whimpered and howled and jumped but nothing worked. She had been left behind.
"I'll be fine.. Let's just get back to the pack" Carbo sighed, having the tail between his legs and his head lowered. He folded his ears when he heard the howl from Kova, sighing once more. "She won, is she not satisfied with just that?" He said quietly, when hearing the howl of Kova. "I'm sorry Champion.. Are you alright?" He asked her, thinking about how distant he had been lately.

Arctica yawns abit as she looks around, noticing her new surrondings, she groans in discomfort. "These rocks are pointing in my ribs...Ack..." She stands, dry blood surronding her white paws. She lets out a fierce howl...."...Father! Pack! It's ARCTICA come FIND ME!!!" She shakes her head in her foolishness as she then lays back down on her rock...And waits...Many things runing through her head....That...That thing that wolf said, is bothering here...

She narrows her eyes in mere rage, HOW DARE HE SAY that too HER! A wolf, a common wolf, say that to HER! She growls again...But she isn't something special...Heh not anymore...I guess she must make do of what she has...
Arctica starts to sniff, a twinkle growing in her eye as she see her prey, the stench that she has be fixated on...
An male rabbit...
She grins as she jumps into the grass, lowering herself to meet hiding level...She slowly starts to stalk the bunny, making sure no noises would interupt this great finding....She thinks to herself..*Finally I get to hunt again...Its been days*... Just then a pain rushes through her hurt paw...She whimpers as she looks down, a snake crawly away.....She snarls at the being as she keeps her focus on the food, getting closer, and closer, right behind and....
She pounces! She wraps her mouth around the rabbits neck effortlessly as she applies pressure. Making the neck snap with a sudden CRACK, she watches the rabbit for any movement...The thing lay limp in her mouth...She trots back to her rocks, with a look of accomplishment on her face. She lays the dead thing on the rock, and begins to tear its flesh, eating the insides...
*This should last me the night...I hope.*

Kova stayed tethered to the tree. Her body trembled as she breathed. It had been a while now, and she was she whined and softly nibbled at the bark on the trees, chewing it up before spitting the shredded peices out. When a light snow began to fall the wolf would quietly curl up and whimper under the tree to which she was tied to. Finally hope came. a truck, not her masters, but one quite familiar pulled up. A young woman stepped out looking saddened.
kova whined and happily jumped as she approached, ut she sat quietly when she noted the woman's saddened eyes and red nose.
" Hey girl.." The woman said. Kova responded with happy barks and whimpers. " Jamie, Jamie! get me out of here! Thanks! I was hoping you would come! "
Jamie was silent as she worked off the chain from the tree. She then sat down a moment with Kova, petting her large head softly. She noted that her cheeks where wet, and softly licked the human. She remembered jamie and Todd had watched her, and those..she shuddered..those other wolves in the 'pack'. They had rescued her. They had rescued her from the others, those horrible..
Jamie hugged her tightly then, and Kova whinde as she fekt her collar being removed. Jamie spoke to her softly. " We've been meaning to do this for a while now..you don't belong with us. we can't lie to the authorities any more. your too big to pass as a shepherd, and after Todd saw what you did to that little one.." Jamie looked away. " he knows best. this is where you belong. "
Kova did not understand all this. she followed jamie to the car, but jamie wouldn't let her in. she whined and scratched at the door to let her know of her mistake. Jamie only looked away and began to back out. Kova barked and ran after her, but the car eventually outfled her.
Kova sat for about 10 minutes, astonished, before letting fourth a sad, lonely howl.
"Nothing important" Carbo said, sighing, knowing how Champ felt about Kiri. He did not intend to cause a fatal injury at poor Kiri. What went wrong? He kept thinking about her whispering sound. He never got what they were, but the sound just could not leave his head. He heard another howl from Kova, sighing. Could she just not be satisfied with the fact that she won. She had to howl and make herself noticed too.
Carbo turned to Champion with a smile over his face. "I'm sorry about that.. Enough about me now.. I'll recover just fine.." He said, looking into her eyes. He leaned his head to the side, keep looking into her eyes.. It sure were pretty eyes..

Carbo watched at her, suprised. "What do you mean?" He asked her, a little bit confused by her words. He looked at Champion with a confused look, stopping and sitting down on the ground.

Kova was pacing in circles. They couldn't do this to her..no, they couldn't. She knew they would come back. They had to. They wouldn't just leave her here to die, not after they had been the ones to rescue her. this couldn't happen. with that she tilted her deep black nose inot the wind again and set forth another long howl, pouring her soul into the saddened cry. She knew the other wolves would hear her. they would bring the pack..and then.
She shuttered.
Just like before, just like all wolves, all other wolves.
Kova, angered, afraid, and confused scratched at the bark on a tree untill it had large bare spots. she then trotted back toward the river. she would follow it up...but she knew she couldn't go home, no. she could never go home.
Carbo lowered his head in shame. "I'm sorry.. I simply cannot help it.." He said, pulling his tail between his legs.. He did not know how to act, as he just sat there, watching Champion.. He forced up a smile, not knowing if this was the time for smiling or not..
