It may be considered, on an individual level for certain characters (possibly Rhino, for instance). I realize it was in jest, but people will start taking my words out of context.

Don't make me scan-blitz you. And perhaps it should be marked 'Classic' Apoc.

Go ahead.

And guys, stop spamming the thread with whining about Apoc/J'onn or I'll bump them down a category.

wink

...

Also, on a side note, I love the list. It may never be perfect, but it's darn good and just browsing it can be fun.

Actually, I kinda do. I just see Kingpin on the High Street and wonder if so many others should be keeping company with him, including people he's trashed thoroughly like Cap (and Batman in a crossover)....even though he clearly doesn't belong any higher.

I suppose they could be considered that high, but I'd honestly purge the High Street of a few people and fill out the Middle category if it were up to me.

I agree, there are several high-street's that should be mid. But Winter Soldier and Fury, I definitely see as high-street.

Anyone else have an opinion?

Lots of people have "trained" Bats (Wildcat comes to mind)....doesn't mean much. He's more than the sum of his trainers.

I'd move down Joker, Black Cat, Elektra, possibly a few others...too many people remember 1-2 good showings of someone and want to move them to High Street. It's entirely too crowded, though I'm sure there may be 1-2 that should move up.

I'm using Classic Kingpin as a benchmark, and he'd f-ing wreck those 3. If someone could hold their own with KP, then I consider them as legit High Street.

I wouldn't mind putting down Daredevil maybe. In skills and abilities I think someone like Cap beat him.

i contest captain comet in the mid herald. i went through the entire mungi respect thread, and i didn't see anything that would place him above the likes of absorbing man, count nefaria, graviton, loki etc. etc.

I see him and Cap as roughly equal there. Cap's shield gives him the edge. So yeah, maybe move Matt down too.

But the point is valid. The "arrow" people have versatility, a few like Bane, KP, Bats, Taskmaster, etc. have either brute force combined with skill or are skilled enough to warrant it (Shiva, Batgirl, TM, etc.) but the others are kinda suspect.

Hehe...that's the cream of the crop of the Low Heralds. I've petitioned for every one of them to be moved up at some point.
