They're likely denying teen mothers healthy environments for thier children. They're making it unable for the woman to continue her education at the present.
And are you saying that people with high school diplomas are NOT less likely to be on welfare?
Also, "moot" means irrelvant, and nothing about my post was irrelevant to not contributing to the conversation...so find a more accurate word and learn how to use it.
People who are married and are not teens can be pregnant there is nothing wrong with that. But teen pregnantly which had been low since the nintys(which is a good tihng)should be homeschooled and not have the highschool supporting them by taking our money.
If they want to help them so much they should get the money out of there own pocket.Jm
I'm saying a single mother (that's what I am assuming based on your responses so far in this discussion) with only a highschool education will still more then likely be on welfare, highschool diploma or not.
You're explanation of education and welfare was moot, simply having a highschool education doesn't mean you won't be on welfare and as a single mom chances are VERY high that even with a highschool education she'll still be on welfare.

I like what you put No, the teen is making that descision. THey are making that descision there life is going to be hell now no matter what happens to them. Why should we put our money through the hell that they are now living?jm
I think teenage mothers have it pretty bloody hard.
Aside from ridicule of their peers, possibly unsupportive family, and the huge expense of things just for the baby they still have more pressures. A human life is a huge responsibility, and these girls just aren't ready for it yet!
But they are trying by going to school, and seeking an education so that they can provide for the child they brought into the world. By making day cares inside the high school, they are supporting the decision to seek an education which is what school was originally made for in the first place. true it might cost tax payers money, but you know what else costs them money that nobody is making a huge deal about? Vandalism! Breaking windows and spray painting schools. Frankly, I believe supporting single mothers is a hell of alot more productive then paying for new windows because a few retarded drunks who didn't like the school, decided to start throwing rocks.
These mothers are going to school to not only set an example for that child, but to provide for it. By making day cares doesn't say "go ahead get pregnant". It says "Were here to make it easier for you to get an education.". I'm pretty sure no teen aged female wants to get knocked up or think everything will be taken care of because that option of care is available to her.
Everybody makes mistakes, but that doesn't mean they should be left to hang because of it. Why not have compassion, and help those people?
Lets see...day care or permenantly uneducated mother sitting at home alone. Its no secret teen pregancies are higher in impoverished communities.
Education is the way out.
Just tell her to abort then and there's no issue.
Then listen to what I'm actually saying instead of making up points and saying I'm wrong.
A teen mother with a high school diploma is LESS LIKELY to be on welfare than one with no diploma.
Remember waht the word means?
And getting a high school diploma is sure as hell better than not getting one. And you're not going to be able to continue your education, now or ever, without a diploma. You're not goint to get pait 80 grand a year, but a high school diploma will get you jobs.
