1) Because at this point Iraq is in Hell regardless. The idea is to attempt to leave it in the best shape possible. I don't agree with the war but just leaving the people after tearing it down and leaving it in this condition would make THE IMAGE OF THE US WORSE.
2) What country doesn't have homelessness?
What country does not have an uneven system of education where all people receive an equal education?
I know of a few countries with "affordable" health care but that's hard to run on a federal level for a country with this many people.
Rampant corruption... what does that mean? Random crime? Rapes? Burglaries? You lost me because that would be everywhere. If you want to say US has more then I need some proof.
I do not agree with most of the decisions our politically chosen make, but I do not like hearing completely incorrect statements about the country I leave in. It is quite offensive.

1. The problem is, I'm not convinced you can improve the shape of Iraq, no matter how long your there.
2. Actually, America is one of the few industrialized nations not to offer free health care. And again I see many American's speaking about the horrible state of your public school system. And by corruption I mean the fact that the republican party has been the focus of allot of court cases and investigations. If you watch Real Time with Bill Maher, he listed all of them off on the screen and it went on for a good minute.
My statements are simply supported by what I see and hear in the media.
There's this thing called miseducation that you are going through. You can't watch a few stations and think you have the entire picture. You sound like Czarina.

No, I have heard enough interviews with Ann Coulter to never want to read that book. And considering I've read many books by right wing politicians that's really saying something.
