No, it does not. In almost all aspects it addresses the presence of homosexuality in culture, not a homosexual culture. Beyond that, it addresses homosexuality in specific cultures. It addresses homosexuality in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, etc. You think that homosexuals in every country around the world act exactly the same or read the same books or listen to teh same music? Maybe a lot of stereotypes can be found in the Uk or Canada and the United States, but if there were a gay culture then it would be a common culture shared by all homosexuals; this simply is not the case. Again, you're using your own engrained notion of homosexuality to justify your opinion.

Would you say that a "well-educated intellectual" could say in his own words what "gay culture" is and not have to rely solely on an irrelevant Wikipedia article?
Through the wonder of the Internet I have met people all over and talked with many gay people and yes they share similarities the world over. Perhaps. And if your using that as a criteria then french and Spanish are not cultures under your reasoning as people in Quebec do not share the exact same cultural dynamics as France. The same can be said of Spain and Mexico.

That begs the question (which you avoided last time among many), is there a "straight culture" that links all straight people under one huge global cultural blanket? What about "bisexual culture", "bestiality culture" etc., if sexuality is a culture onto itself.
Devil King... this guy is blatantly trolling us, or he's really just a witless buffoon. It's very simple, if someone makes a claim, they should be able to back it up (and posting irrelevant Wiki articles doesn't count); I think everyone can agree with this.
I haven't backed up any of the claims because I made none. You want to say that I'm the one who stated that the basis for culture is shared art, liturature, length of existence, music, common practices, etc. Now you refuse to respond to my question about those criteria and how any of them are gay specific. Don't think you're going to irritate me into defending your own cliams for you. I'm not the one that brought up Quebec. You did. I never said they were the same culture, you simply said I inferred it. It's a fact that France is a major influence on Quebec. But that's just more distracting of the issue.

It's a part of who a person is. Much like homosexuality. And blue eyes is a trait that is present in most cultures, also like homosexuality. I don't see how it's a stretch
