can you define "honing"?

If you had a gay liberal and a gay conservative, what type of things would they share and what would they disagree on?

Politically they would follow the ideologies of those respective parties. However culturally they would still be different then traditional liberals and conservatives.

And guys sorry I can't respond to every post, I had to go out for abit.

In any event read over that article again.
Okay, then to parallel, is there a "straight culture"? I fail to see how there would be, because there are straight people in every civilization, much like homosexuals. Gays and straights are present in every culture, so why do they get one of their own?

They would be best described as a gay person with liberal beliefs.

I'll assume you believe that for the conservative as well.

If I were to get a sample of gays, and their political ideologies, what would I expect to find common among them even when they differed on political ideas?

I know what your asking, your asking me to describe their culture, the reason I posted that article is that I am not Gay, I do not want to misrepresent them. If Eclipso was on here he could help as he is bi-sexual at least.

ok

but let me just explain something to you.

You have come into a thread, and you have said something that is not only a very controversial topic, but something that people have very emotional views on. Then when people ask you to give evidence, you think it is improper to make any statements about the culture you claim exists.

The fact is, saying gay people belong to a culture simply because of their sexuality is a statement about gay people, and if you were really concerned about misrepresentation, you wouldn't even say that.

If you can back something up, say it. If you have evidence, it is the problem of those who cannot accept it. If you can't or are unwilling to back up a claim, you deserve the crap you get. Especially when you are bastardizing something I believe in myself.

How in the hell can a 14 and 16 year old boy be traumatized by a lesbian sex book? I don't see how that can work. They'll probably just throw this case out.

Traumatized my ass, I can understand if their little boys, like of the age of 5 or 4, but 14 and 16? What the f**k?

No that is why I provided the article, so that they could read up on their culture. We have even had clothing styles, styles of writing and music styles generated from the gay culture much in the same way those areas have been influenced by Hip/Hop and rap culture.
