still Surfer would be easily capable of dismantling Superman within the sun. worst comes to it, he could implode the sun, stick a blackhole in there and suck Superman out of it. he could collapse the sun around them both and all the while be draining Superman's energies and firing them back at him, destabilising his body.

he could do what he did to Firelord, overcharge him rapidly by playing dumb and weak and waiting for Superman to amp up, at which point he releases a condensed burst of yellow sun energy.

he could convert the sun's energies on the fly and simply poison Superman. he could amp himself up indefinitely and trade blows for a while (before he just simply put an end to proceedings) ...

confused Over charge superman with yellow sun energy, what superman?

Superman didn’t beat Imperix in a straight up fight.

Imperix Prime would waste Superman, even if Supes had been sun dipping for days.

Myx is above Skyfather
Jakeem would be dead before he had a chance to use Thunder's power

Once again my friend...you are showing your willingness to accept anything Marvel automatically, and nitpicking at anything DC.

And the squirrel girl things was funny... it was apparently Marvels way to tell you not to take the titan so seriously. He's overrated beyond believe as are many characters.

The only thing i nitpick about DC, are the Superman related instances since many would try to pass things off without showing the context in the showings.

You originally said Thanos hasn't done anything that says he's beyond Superman physically, which i find laughable.

Superman is an elite top tier, which happens to be the group Thanos manhandles with contempt.

And you're right.
It was originally Thanos, but the later retcon makes it a clone.
Hence, it no longer being applicable to Thanos, via said retcon.

And the squirrel Girl thing was funny, since it was made in jest. You're the one who tried to pass it off as a viable fight.

I don't nitpick DC as a whole.

I've just seen too many people try to pass off the exemplary showings of Superman as the norm.

I recall you for instance, trying to show the Superman KOTW Arc where the JLA took him on, and had to use group numbers as proof that he's on Thanos's level of strength, but what you didn't tell everyone else, is that he'd been taking numerous trips to the sun to dispose of nuclear weaponry, and had been sun amped at the time.

Just an example.

Avy is right, you nitpick at what you do not like and attempt to laugh at it to degrade its presence on the forums; as if your opinion matters.

You joyously accept most things marvel, well you immediately shun those things DC.

Laughable. Thanos has shown nothing that relates to even standard Supes in good form. If you call preping for near everything and then running with your tail between your legs so you don't look like you're losing a great character...then by all means...enjoy.

What's even more laughable is your "amping" thing. So hey! Let's put a matrix like black cloud above the earths atmosphere..you know...because every time a sun ray hits Clark...he's automatically sundipped. laughing

Hell, let's just save time..tell Clark "F*ck the sun!" and tell him to eat spinach...it works MUCH faster.

Avy, superman in recent years has shown he is able to *amp* regardless of location; IE when he was drawing energy from just the empty space around him, or when he was drawing him energy from the energy reaction of when he was being drained.

Lol.

Thanos doesn't have the appearances of the Kryptonian.

When he faces elite top tiers, he beats them.
Whether with a backhand, or a blast, he beats them.

Thanos looking decently against Thor with the PG, who'd previously hit Dumb Drax so hard he puked up the PG(You know Drax, the guy who flew through suns without blinking. Took hits from Professor Hulk without a raised eyebrow?) and then going on to look decently, if still losing against Odin>> Darkseid failing to vape Superman even when the OE is tuned to his dna makeup. Or Darkseid getting knocked to the ground, before he uses his brains to teleport Superman back to earth. Or Darkseid going hth with an "All OUT OMG HE'S GODLY, MARVEL SEUKSS" Superman and getting beaten. Or Darkseid getting nailed with his own trump Card, and then getting beaten to crying tears of energy. Or Darkseid being dumb enough to try to kill DD, when he merely could've teleported him away.

And i'd rather Darkseid knew when to call it a day, rather than following people home to hide in barnhouses.......but then again, what vaunted cosmicgod wouldn't want to stay in a rustic farmhouse while waiting to pounce?

Spidey better lock his doors, lest he wake up to finding Galactus on the couch, amirite??

This is why Superman is so disliked on this and other forums.

Thanos has done nothing to prove he's beyond Superman......?

Yet with a backhand he takes out Thor, or stops his hammer.

He vapes and leaves him a dead husk of godflesh, but Thor gives Superman his bestest fight evah!!@

Laughable.

Did or did not the KOTW arc make mention of his recent trips to the sun, which provide an amp to his power levels?

Answer the question, and i'll concede the point.
