Spider-Man wasn't to blame for anything happening to Brock. Brock just blamed Spider-Man, because Spider-Man caught the real Sin Eater serial Killer, and Brock's news story was made to look false. Brock had printed a story where he thought he had discovered who the serial killer Sin Eater was.

I liked Venom as kid because...well I just thought he was cool...that's it.
Today, I think he's just 'meh'. Just an overrated character with an absolute dumbass reason for hating Spider-Man. It's bad enough all other characters hates Spider-Man for the most exaggerated excuses...
I can't deny, although, that there was a nostalgia feeling seeing Venom on the silver screen...
Never the less considering Venom's popularity and fanbase in the Spiderverse I think it was of bad taste to give him 20 minutes of screen time and then kill him. As many people have stated earlier each villain warranted their own individual movie, but they just had to go and cram 2 pounds of shit in a 20 oz coke.
Venom should have just being shown terrorizing people while Spidey fought Sandman/New Goblin. Ruining Spidey's reputation in NYC for Spidey 4, but meh. The movie was still a lot better than X3 Wolverine's Revenge
That was the Sinister Twelve, not the Sinister Six. The Sinister Twelve also had Hydroman, Boomerang, Hammerhead, Vulture and a few other non-movie worthy villians in it, not to mention Scorpion-Venom. If people thought that having three villians in the movie was too many storylines then why would you think it'd be a good idea to fit six or twelve in to one movie. Spiderman was part of the Ultimate Six too. So was Doc Ock and Sandman. Do you propose that all that bullshit happens?
I actually liked why he hated Peter so much in the movie
In the comics, he kind of hated him for no real reason.
While in the movie, I actually sympathize with him. I mean here we have a guy who, isn't necessarily a bad guy, but he makes some bad decisions. Unlike Peter, when everything in his life goes wrong, he doesn't have an MJ or an Aunt May to fall back on to help him and to make matters worse, the girl he fell for is now going out with the guy who just caused him to lose his job.
Because of this all he had was hate in his heart, and the suit only made matters worse, as it amplified this hate, to the point where he pretty much became evil.
I think everyone should stop teasing Venom fans.I think all of you are just unwilling to accept the fact that Venom will probably be in Spiderman 4.Maybe its because I am half color blind or something, but I dont see any skeleton in the picture still, all I see is a Symbiote goo everywhere in the explosion.-shrugs-...Dont take that to heart though, it's still early in the morning, my eye for details isnt awake yet.

Think about this, if Venom were to return in the next movie, but not Brock.Why would an unnamed ACTOR say his character might be returning.Franco said Harry is done.This only leaves Venom to come back.Why would Toper Grace say his character might not be dead if Venom finds a new host in the next movie.If Venom returns...Brock does as well, at least this is most likely.
