Chapter 27
Christmas Day
Christmas morning had finally arrived and for the first time in seventeen years potter manor had guests on Christmas day. This morning Harry woke to a unusual feeling on his face.
"Ginny get off!" Harry groaned, he then heard laughing.
"its not me Harry, mara wake up look!" Ginny said shaking mara who had joined them during the night.
"AHHHHH! Daddy wake up! PUPPIES! TWO!" she screamed crawling over to the dogs to play with them.
"Slippy!" Harry called.
"yes master"
"thanks for bringing the dogs up" Harry said groggily, ginny passed him his glasses.
"thanks babe, we are never going to have an empty bed are we" he asked.
"never" she said before kissing him.
"happy christmas love" he said resting his forehead against hers, Harrys head was immediately yanked back by mara.
"Thankyou Daddy!" she said hugging him. "Thankyou Mommy" she added hugging Ginny in turn.
"what for?" Harry asked.
"for getting me some puppies." she said.
"i didnt santa did" he said smiling.
"i know hes not real" she said.
"how darling?" Ginny asked.
"my last mommy told me" she said looking down.
"do you want to talk about it Honey?" Ginny asked.
"no...i love you mommy" mara said hugging Ginny.
"i love you too, now whats your puppies called?"
"Max and Rex, they are golden labradors" Harry said getting up.
"Slippy!"
"yes master?"
"can you prepare breakfast please?" Harry asked.
"certainly master, will that be all?" she asked.
"yes thankyou"
The three of them dressed and made their way downstairs, the dogs running ahead of them mara chasing them.
"i cant believe her mom told her" Ginny said.
"i know, its unreal, at least shes okay about it...so what have you got me for christmas?" he asked.
"not telling you until tonight" she said. "what have you got me?"
"not telling you till tonight" he said back to her.
"fine be like that" she said walking into the living room.
"Morning everyone" he said too all the guests that were in the living room.
"Morning" they all replied.
"have you had your present off Ginny yet Harry?" Molly asked smiling.
"No, the bed was packed" he said grinning. "why?"
"no reason, the bed was packed was it, never be empty now, let the dogs on once they wont stay off, just like mara" she said smiling.
"i know but i cant do anything about it, they tell me to shut up, isnt that right Ginny?" he asked smiling.
"Harry shut up" she said, the guests all chuckled.
"Master Breakfast shall be served shortly" wallow told harry.
"thankyou wallow, please could you move into the dining room please, breakfast is set to be served." all the guests stood up and began to shuffle into the room.
"and you draco" harry said.
"are you sure" draco replied.
"yes, now get your arse in their" harry said.
Harry followed Draco into the room and put mara in her seat, Harry sat down at the end of the table and Ginny promptly sat on his lap.
In a manner of seconds around seven house elves bobbed into the room serving the guests.
"thanks guys"
"our pleasure master" they all chorused.
The guests tucked into the their breakfasts all though Ginny seemed more interested in Harrys.
"not again. put the sausage back! No! Dont do it! Ginny!" she went to bite it but harry wandlessly and non-verbally summoned it to him.
"HA! didnt think of that! did ya!" he saud taunting her, but she quickly snatched it back and bit it in half.
"you little-" he began, but she jumped up and began to run away.
"thats it! your not getting your ring-" he began then stopped.
"what ring?" she asked, the guests were now watxhing hearng harry slip up.
"awww Shit!" he shouted.
"Harry! watch your language...what ring?" she asked again.
"nothing, just a christmas present" he said.
"He's Lying" the twins chorused happily, Ginny pulled her wand out.
"What. Ring" she said slowly.
"Fine..." he pulled the box out of his pocket and knelt before ginny.
"Ginny Weasleys, you have ballsed the whole thing up but i still love you, will you marry me?" he asked.
"no" she said,the guests all gasped.
"what do you mean no! you wouldnt talk to me for nearly a onth because i wouldnt ask you!" he said angrily.
"i mean, i want you to ask me when yuo planned" she said pulling him up and kissing him.
"well the whole things ruined now, i'll have to wait a year" he said smiling.
"i dont think so Potter, i've waited for this day since i first heard of you, so dont even think about it...but i'll wear the ring" she said reaching for it.
"oh i dont think so, you say yes before you wear it" he said pulling it away. Ginny raised her wand.
"yes darling" he said passing the box over. all the guests laughed, none as hard as Arthur and Jack.
"good boy, always do as your told, its the key ingredient for the perfect marriage, do as your told" arthur said laughing, Jack voiced his agreement, both of their wives scolded them.
Harry sat back down next too mara whilst Ginny showed the ring off too the othe girls.
"Daddy your a wuss!" mara said, the table heard and laughed.
"hey missy, have you ever been on the end of one of your mothers bat-bogey hexes, neither have i, and i dont intend too" he said shuddered. the table laughed. "ask draco" harry said, they all turned to draco, who was smiling then he looked down at his plate.
"i deserved it, i was brought up to hate harry, i dont...my father had spies in Hogwarts...but he is dead...me and my mother are free" he said smiling. "free to help harry fight" he added smiling, a few people smiled back yet Ron was glaring at him.
"anyway Daddy, you'll fight Voldermort-" she began but molly screamed.
"she said his name" she whispered.
"so, if daddies not scared of him then neither am i" she said proudly climbing onto his lap. "Daddy is going to train me to be the most powerfullest withc in the world so i can help save people like daddy saved me" she said.
"thats my girl" harry replied kisssing her forehead. "and when you've been naughty and you see mommy glaring at you, you will be shaking in your boots, i do" he said to laughter.
"i'm never nayghty" she said "and you know what good girls get Daddy, presents! when can i open them?" she asked eagerly, the table laughed.
"When would you like to open them?" he asked.
"now...come on max, come on rex" he shouted running aaway the dogs bounding after her.
Slowly all the guests left the dining room.
"i'm sorry i recked your plans Harry" ginny said "you know i dont like secrets, so i'm sorry, just do what you had planned." she said.
"fine but you better like it, could ruin my reputation if anyone found out" he said.
"your a big softy really arent you" she said putting her arms around his neck.
"i sure am, but only for my girls, so what have you got me for christmas" he asked.
"tell me know" he pleaded.
"no!"
"Ginny, Tell me!"
"No!"
"so you wont tell me but i have to tell you?" he asked.
"exactly, i think your learning" she said smiling, she turned around to walk away.
"Ginny...please...tell me" he said softly. She shook her head and walked out of the room.
Harrys anger was beginging to rise, he was fighting so hard not too break something, he turned his back from the living room and walked throught the kitchen and out to the gardens, he walked to the edge of the forest and transfigured a stick into a training sword, he needed a way to vent his frustration.
Being a master of transiguration he transfigured several sticks into people who were also armed. The five people surronded him and Harry smiled this is were he felt most at home, against the odds and in danger he got a kick from it.
They all atttacked him at once lunging at him, surprisingly he blocked them all and returned the attack, he plunged the sword deep into the attacking legs, quickly withdrawing it he block an attack and set off cleaving his attackers sword in half follwed by a knee into the others stomack.
Being attacked again Harry parried ther attack and drove the swords side across the mans body slicing through his chest, blood sputed into Harrys face, smiling he withdrew the sword and set off attacking the other men, one of them blocked him whilst the other lashed outslicing along Harrys cheek as Harry pulled back.
Frustrated at being hit he swung the sword around cleaving one of the mens arm off, the sword fell to the ground followed by the body, swinging again he cleaved the mans head off.
Spinning around he pointed his sword at the last man, who was shaking badly Harry put him out of his misery, standing in the middle of a bloody mess he felt his anger slowly leaving, he spun again and threw the sword towards the trees where it hit one dead centre and pierced it deepy.
He magicked away the mess and cleaned the blood off him and sat down with his back too a tree. The back door opened and mara ran out clutching the child version of the firebolt harry had bought her, followed by Mrs Weasley who must have been watching her, she ran across the grass and jumped on an unsuspecting Harry whoose Head was lolled to the side.
"thankyou daddy! can i go on! please! fly with me!" she pleaded.
Harry conjured his firebolt and did a bit of magic so mara wouldnt fall off and her broom copied what Harrys did.
"okay then climb off and hold on'' he said kicking off, at the same time they both launched into the air Maras broom by the side of him in perfect symetry to what harry did, always the same amount of space between them.
"faster!" she screamed, Harry went faster and did a sharp turn, she squealed eagerky when he did this.
"tricks do tricks!" she shouted. Harry placed her on his broom and banished hers to her bedroom, staright away he set off doing loop the loops and corkscrews.
"Time to go back" he said dropping her off and then returning to the sky, Fawkes appeared in midair and gave him a message. |

He read the letter and darted back to the house, fawkes flew along side him, he entered the kitchen and threw his broom aside. waving his hand as he walked he changed into the battle robes and walked into the living room.
"there is an attack at the ministry, voldermort is there and i'm going" he said as he pulled his wand glove on" he kissed Ginny and mara nd went to leave.
"Harry i'm coming" Ron said standing up.
"Sit down Ron, your not going, look after hermione" he said before.
"then let us come" Bill, charlie, arthur and the twind said at the same time.
"no! i wont lose any of you...fawkes!" he shouted and dissapeared. Ginny broke down crying as well as emma.
"i didnt tell him mom, i wouldnt tell him this morning he might die!" she wailed.
"he wont darling! he'll be fine! he always is!" molly said trying to comfort her, she only calmed a little bit when emma hugged her.
"we cant et out, we cant apparate and hes dissabled he floo" Bill said reentering the room, no one knew he had gone. |

Chapter 28
Battle at the ministry
Harry reappeared on level one in the ministers office where scrimageour and his advicers were talking to Kingsley.
"thankgod your here Sir, the Death Eaters have captured floor nine down to six, the aurors are heavily outnumbered, the order will be arriving shortly" Kingsley said shaking his hand.
"Whats this got to do with Potter!?!" Scrimageour shouted.
"he's the leader and hes saved your job on several occssions, at Hogsmeade and Diagon alley, you should look up to him!" Kingsley shouted back. "he even beat voldermort even Dumbledore couldnt do that, you should respect him!" he added.
"and hes put my reputation in shatters!" Scrimagoeur answered.
"that was your own fault-" Harry began, but was interupted, by a mass of popping noises.
"Harry! your here!" Tonks said hugging him.
"i've come to lead the battle" he said, he waved his wand and a 3d map of the ministry appeared in the air.
"Nice wand Harry, Gryffindors i believe" Remus said gazing at the wand.
"yes, it lifted for me, if you understand" harry said smiling, the members of the order were gazing at the wand opened mouth.
"right then, i shall lead fourteen men, Kingsley the other, my team is labbeled as alpha team whilst Kingsley is Bravo, you will be randomly assigned" Harry waved his wand and the group split in half, with badges appearing on them, some people had the letter A covered in green, the other half the letter B covered in blue.
"Good now, the aurors still control from the fifth floor down as far as we know, i will place the ministry in the centre, alpha will flank left and Bravo will flank right. hopefully we cabn push them back parallel holdig the line, if one group gets too far ahead, then they will hold the line and wait for theothers to catch up, we dont break ranks, alone we fall together we are unbeatable, move out men!" Harry ordered.
Harry and Kinglsey instantly ran out of the door, the others following their designated leader in single file, the lower level ministry workers who were trapped cheered as they ran by, several of them followed wands drawn when harry called for fighters.
The order reached fourth floor and they saw that aroud twenty aurors were in the middle of the hall spread out holding a weak line against a hundred strong death eaters, Harry instantly put up his shield and lead his team up to them.
"Alpha go left! Bravo go right! aurors fall in centre! volunteers on me! hold fire!" Harry commanded.
Each of the order members left to their positions crouched behind obstacles waiting for the attack too start. Harry became aware of the daily prophet taking pictures.
"Who here is the highest in command?" Harry asked.
"me, i'm liuetenant fisher" one of the men said sticking outof his hand to shake, harry obliged.
"i cant control you but-" Harry began.
"Sir, we will follow, you are the leader of the order, a general, i was at Diagon alley, i would follow you anywhere." liuetenant fisher.
"thankyou...now volunteers it will be brutul-" Harry began again.
"we will follow you" one of them said, the others voiced their opinions.
"good...now, i have thirty men, fiftenn on each side, which means you lieutenant are in control of twenty aurors and twenty volunteers, fourty in total, we are going to do the pincer move, we all move up at the same time parallel, if one team gets too far ahead they hold the line untill the other grouos arrive then fall in. your group is charlie" Harry waved his wand and yellow badges with the letter C appeared on their robes.
"How long have the prophet been here?" Harry asked.
"Since top floor, he's my brother, hes just akid" the lieutenant said, with a trace of woory in his voice.
"Arry!" wait for us!" Harry turned around, he was surprised to see Hagrid, McGonagall and percy running to them.
"Harry let me fight please! take me to my parents after! if i die, tell them, i'm sorry and i love them" he said shaking his Harry's robes.
"i will percey, but you can tell them yourself when we finish"
"thankyou Harry, i'm sorry for everything" he sobbed.
"Arry! dont forget uys!" Hagrid shouted pulling Harry into ahug.
"Mr Potter! dinner isnt sserved until twelve, i expect you too wrap this battle up well before that so we can go to Potter Manor i wish too see Mara" she said sternly, then she broke into a smile and hugged Harry.
"How are you Harry?" she asked.
"i'm fine Minerva, i was thinking about returning too school for the last term, can you arrange it?" he asked.
"certainly" she said beaming "now, where are we?" she asked him.
"you and Hagrid in Bravo they will be greatly strengthened with you, Percey your with me in able" Harry said, the four of them moved out.
Harry knelt by his group and issued his commands for the entire team.
"listen up! today we win! this is the furthest they get! Stay low! keep moving and never loook back! nobody dies today! when the shield goes down, fire!" he shouted to them.
Harry dropped the shield and the Death eaters were very surprised to see a volley of spells shooting at them, with no time to block most of them fell, the first few lines dropped but the lines beind replaced them.
"Hold the line! keep level and move up!" Harry shouted. the three groups slowly began to move forward, trying to keep behind obstacles, the death eaters spells were doing little damage but they were pinning the men down.
"Charlie! fire power now!" Harry screamed. Group charlie instantly began firing curses like mad at the enemy.
"Alpha! Bravo! flank and suppress!" Harry shouted, automatically the two flanking units began moving up the sides of the enemy until they had passed them and surrnded them.
"Assault!" Harry yelled. Alpha and Bravo jumped up and wiped out the remaimning Death Eaters in the group.
"Alpha! Bravo! Hold the line! Charlie move up!" Harry shouted, the two groups held the line from the fresh group of Death Eaters whilst Charlie caught up. Alpha and Bravo succeded in pinning down trhe enemy whilst Charlie moved up. Eventually Charlie caught up and they made there way to the next level.
"Spread Out! Keep moving! Fire at will!" Harry commanded. The three gropus reigned shouts on the enemy whilst the braver members pushed forward intot eh enemys ranks, however nobody was infront of Harry who it seemed actually stood in the enemys ranks the whole time.
Harry was constantly jumping over the enemy barracades to face the nxt line of Death Eaters several seconds before anybody caught up, the Death Eaters who didnt retreat from his advanced were slaughtered.
The defenders reclaimed the fourth, fifth and sixth floor and had just entered the seventh, the order had taken a few injuries but no deaths that Harry knew of, most of the aurors were gone and Harry could see lttle volunteers anymore.
Harry ran into the seventh floor and it appeared to be the final gruop of Death Eaters, voldermort was at theback, he look surprised to see Harry come up as he thought his army was doing well. He instantly called twenty death eaters to block the path and he started to retreat. Harry created his shield over the doorway blocking his escape, the order had know caught up with him and together they charged at the remaining of the enemy, eventually the teams were mixed fighting one on one duels, Harry was making his way to voldermort when Bellatrix leStrange intercepted him. Harry saw percey run past him to voldermort.
"ah baby Potter! going somewhere are we?" she mocked.
"move out of the way Bella!" Harry shouted.
"Dont call me Bella!" she screeched. She fired the killing curse at Harry who dodged it and returned it.
"Come on Potter, i've seen you fight, you are better than that-" she was intercepted by the crucio maxima spell being placed on her, she dropped to the ground screaming in agony, Harry rushed past her and made his way to Percey.
As he was dueling Bella he was watching Percey, he dueled the Dark Lord admirably, he was doing good, but not good enough, percey was now wandless.
"Advada kedavra!" Voldermort shouted, harry began to dive infront but some one caught his ankle making him stumble a metre away from Percey, the spell hit him and he flew backwards he was dead.
"Nooo!" Harry screamed as he looked at Perceys body which was lying mingled in Hagrids, three death eaters jumping on him cheering.
Something happened there when he saw his best friend and near brother lying together in a pool of blood, Harry exploded, he could feel the magic pulsing throughh him.
He stood up and aimed at voldermort six killing curses issued out of his wand at his thought, Voldermort had to drop to the ground to advoid them.
Harry who had been using his wand pulled out his new one, as soon as he felt it, he noticed the magic pulsing through him starting to aim for the wand, concentrating Harry sent several balls of flames shooting out of his wand at Voldermort, everybody was standing side by side watching the duel. Voldermort had to create a ball of water around him too keep him safe. One ball of fire hit the wall behind voldermort exploding making an entrance out, voldermort and the nearest Death Eaters ran out and instantly dissaparated.

Harry turned around to survey the damage, running over to Hagrid and Percey he dropped to his knees beside them, he could feel the tears rolling down his face.
"i will avenge you, you have not died in vain, i will tell your family percey, goodbye Hagrid my old friend, i shall miss you the most" Harry said standing up.
Harry crossed to Kingsley.
"report kingsley" harry said.
"we have thirty dead, they have 109 dead, we have captured sixty three, we've done well." He said clapping Harry on the back.
"who have we lost?" Harry asked.
"about seventeen volunteers, three order members, including Hagrid and percey even though he wasnt in it, so really only one and ten aurors- go home Harry, you need your family" Kingsley said, Harry walked away.
"a word Mr Potter" the reporter asked, harry nodded his head.
"what do you have to say Mr Potter?"
"yes...i lost several people today, all good friends especially Rubeus Hagrid, the most kindest and bravest Half giant you will ever meet, and another percey weasley he fought for his family today and just him on his own showed how strong they are, losing percey was like losing a brother, he was the bravest man i know, he is the only person i know to take on voldermort and put up a good fight, he was a brave man and didnt deserve death, every person here who had defended the minstry deserves to be awarded for their services to not only me but to the wizarding world, these people who nobody knows are the real heroes, the ones that give there lifes so we can live just one more day, the ones who fight to make sure we sleep soundly in our beds at night, they are the real heroes, the people who we should look up too." Harry said, tears streaming down his face.
"and what about yourself Mr Potter, we kept aclose eye on you in the battle, you were always at the front, in everybody's opinion you are the bravest wizard to live and after that display of magic the most powerfullest wizard, the prophet also notes how voldermort ran away from you" the mad said.
"i'm not brave...just stupid, no more questions" he said before walking away, he called fawkes and dissapeared in a ball of flames.

Chapter 29
telling the news
Upon arrival at Potter Manor Harry went straight for the drinks cupboard and puled out a bottle of firewhisky, swigging from the bottle he felt his anger returning.
"arrgh!" he threw the bottle at the wall, it exploded and smashed over the wall, he dropped to the floor with his back against the counter unstopable tears rolling downs his face.
The door opened and both Molly and Ginny entered, they both stopped when then sa Harry crying, he looked up and saw them.
"i'm sorry Molly, i couldnt get too him, i couldn't save him!" harry cried.
"whats wrong darling" Molly said bending down top hug him.
"i couldn't reach him! somebody grabbed my leg! i tripped! i was ametre away!" he wailed.
"who dead?" Molly asked shaking.
"Percey! i nearly intercepted it, i was stopped!" he said, Molly began crying.
"Perceys dead!?!"she cried.
"it was voldermort, he told me to tell you he loved you and was sorry, he was going to come here after too apologies, he would have come back!" harry shouted standing up.
"Ha-Harry calm down" Ginny said, the tears rolling down her face, she hugged him.
"i cant do it Gin! i cant take it! Hagrids dead as well" he said crying into his shoulder. Ginny gasped and started to cry again.
"I'm so sorry harry...did he die fighting?"| she asked softly.
"yes...it took three of them to kill him, and it took ages for to do it" Harry said looking away.
"comfort your mom, i need to be alone" he kissed her and hugged molly again, he made his way to the garage, giving the passworh he entered.
he walked inbetween the cars and came to sirius's motorbike, he tapped it with his wand and it roared to life.
He took the sunglasses out of its place and fixed them on firmly, the garage doors raised and he shot out, passing through the open gates, he turned around the corner and sped off down the road.
Speeding through the mountains with no idea where he was going, his mind showing him flashbacks of the battle, Hagirds and Perceys body entwined in a pool of blood, men dropping down dead lifeless, stray body parts of the defenders and death eaters mixed in together.
Changing gears he sped up, not caring for any stupid speed limit, he began to cry again, the tears rolled down his face and were blown off by the wind. Pulling up along side the edge of a great drop he got out a walked right to the edge his toes over hanging.
He marvelled at how easy it would be, just end it all, to stop the pain, with nobody to stop, nothing to soften the fall, no more dead friends or family, one jump to end it all.
Ginny's, mara's and then emma's face appeared in his mind, all of them laughing and smiling, it was there he realised he still had something, a reason to fight, for love, stepping back he went to his bike and made his way back...
Pulling on the driveway he saw Molly running down the path, he got off and was confronted by her.
"Harry darling, i was worried, i thought you had done something silly." she said hugging him.
"Dont worry about me, i'm not going anywhere...have you told them?" he asked.
"no i cant, i want you to do it" Molly whispered.
Harry banished the bike to the garage and walked up the marble steps entering the house, he entered the hallway and was crushed to the ground by emma who was crying.
"i thought i'd lost you...i cant lose you...dont leave me Harry...please!" she cried hugging him tightly.
"i'm sorry sis...i wont leave you...i need you too be strong." he whispered rubbing her back.
He helped her up and led her into the dining room, everyone was around the table waiting for him. Upon entering Ginny and tonks grabbed him and hugged him tightly.
He led them to their seats and went over to mara who was crying, she lifted her arms and harry picked her up.
"i thought you'd left me daddy!" she cried into his shoulder.
"i'll never eave you princess" he said kissing her head, he sat down at the head of the table and Ginny took his hand.
"Harry what is it?" Bill asked.
"we won" he said, the crowd let out a sigh.
"we were outnumbered three to one but we held them-" he began.
"cut the crap Harry whos dead?" he said bluntly "all of that will be in the paper tomorrow when they lord you up" he said angrilly.
"Ron!" HErmione shouted, the others looked at him angrilly.
"no he's right, they propably will...well...Hagrids dead, took three of them to kill him, they did right before it fininshed." he sais, the members groaned, others began to cry, except ron.
"Come on Harry, what you keeping from us eh, some of these didn't even know Hagrid!" Ron said.
"yes your right...i'm sorry...its Percey, he's dead, it was voldermort" Harry said looking down.
All of the weasleys died on the spot, incappable of speech, they were deeply affected.
"why should we care!" Ron said standing up. "he was a traitor!"
"before the battle, before we started, we were interupted by Percey, he begged me too let him fight, he told me too tell you he was sorry, and regreeted eveerything he did, he loved you, after the battle he asked to go to where you was too apologies" Harry whispered. His eyes welling up again.
"what...happened Harry?" arthur asked.
"the death eaters had got too the fourth floor when i arrived only twenty aurors were left, i lead fifty men pushing them back too the seventh floor, i was always infront of the men, percey just behind or by my side" Harry told them who were all gazing at him.
"we fought together side by side, brothers, we used joint spells, he was fantastic, he did a lot of damage, he saved alot of lives." he said, the weasleys apart from Ron were smiling eyes still brimed with tears hearing about Harry and Percey fighting side by side, like brothers.
"we reached the seventh floor, voldermrt wasthere, i thought if i can get to his first, scare him off the other will surrender, i made my way too him but i was intercepeted by Bellatrix LeStrange, Percey ran staright past me to Voldermort, i watched him duel, he did brilliant, at one stage he had the upper hand gave voldermort a nice little scar across his face, i defeated Bellatrix and ran too take over from Percey i saw him get disarmed, he shot the killing curse, i ran... i was about too intercept it, somebody grabbed my foot and pulled me down, a metre away from percey... watched it hit him, he flew backwards into Hagrids body" he informed them.
"you were about to take the killing curse?" arthur asked.
"yes"
"why?" Charlie asked
"i wanted him too live...make up with his family...to be together like a family should be...i'm sorry...i cant...need...alone" he said turning to walk away.
"thats right! the great Harry Potter going for a sulk just like he always does! what gives you the right to play god and mess around with peoples life, going off to be the hero, killing people, talking about saving people like you can do everything and dissapearing for a week and then come back smiling because you killed loads of death eaters." Ron said angrilly.
"i wouldnt have come back if it wasnt for fawkes, i would have stayed and finished the job!" Harry shouted.
"oh i know, because you always like to be the centre of attention, in the papers about all the money you have got, your family, how brave you was in the last battle!" he shouted at him. The others were trying to get him too shut up.
"you think i like running off to fight, watching people die, blood everywhere, your friends dropping down beside you, knowing they are never going to stand uo again, watching death eaters torture innocent women, killing children!" Harry shouted.
"yeh, i do!"
"Well i'll tell you Ron!" he said tears streaming down his face, Ron looked on in shock he had never seen Harry cry, not when cedric was killed, not sirius, not eve dumbledore.
"ME Ron! a boy of seventeen has to lead just seventy men against two hundred death eaters, standing there watching blood spurt all over the ground, watching men who are brothers, sons, fathers fall down to the ground ead knowing their family willnever talk to them again! the only spell flying through the air is the killing spell, only a second too decide what to do, because if you stand still for too lonfg thats it your dead! its not alittle game of chess Ron, its real life, not being stunned or slowed down, Death! no second chance, no standing back up and having another crack at it, you would have died a hundreds times out there todat ron and then i'd be bringing your body back too your parents! you think ilike the fact i come home too my family crying, because they thought i was dead! you think i like leaving my family and running off on a suicide mission to get killed! DO YOU!" Harry screamed the pictures shattered and the lights blew out.
"Harry calm down!" Snape said rushing into the room, with mcgonagall and matthew.
"he thinks its a game! i could have been killed a thousand times today! he wouldnt have lasted a minute! i would have had too watch you die!" he shouted turning to ron who gulped.
"you think i want that! I've just watched Hagrid lying in his own pool of blood and then Percey being blown in it, followed by Death Eaters dancing ontop of their bodies! YOU THINK I WANT THIS LIFE!" Harry screamed.
Harry turned to walk out of the room, the door swung open automatically he walked, Hermione, Emma, Ginny and Mara went to follow him, Diane held Hermione back.
"How could you Ron!" Molly shouted at him.
"i dont know...i couldnt stop" he said looking down at the table.
"erm...slippy" Draco said. the house elf appeared.
"i know i cant order you, but i was wondering if you could make us some tea" Drac asked.
"Master has instructed us to take orders from anybody living in Potter Manor" he said before dissapearing.
"oh" Draco added, he looked up to see nearly everybody crying, tonks was wailing into Remus, matthew wasd having to comfort McGonagallm who had witnessed the end of the display. Everybody was angry with Ron.
