I'm sure the next generation consoles will solve all of that.

This is the first I hear that you have to pay a monthly service fee to play online.confused

most console games you do, either per game, like phantasy star online, or a service like xbox live.

but nintendo has said their online games won't have fees.

eitherways, Metroid Prime coming out here in 2 days...getting excited. the reviews here too are RAVE. in fact there's not been one critic here who's given it less than 100% score.

Story-line non existant?
You've obviously not been scanning everything into your log book Mr!
Each level you explore explains more and more of the story. It's pretty fun discovering all the clues and stuff.

Or if your too lazy to scan all of the stuff, the story summary in the booklet pretty much tells you everything. stick out tongue

Repetitive game play?

I dont understand confused

first of all, scanning monsters and items doesnt tell much of a story, it tells you about you're surroundings but not much more... and by repetitive i mean its just going in different "dungeons" and killing monsters, solving puzzles and defeating the boss, nothing really keeps me motivated to keep playing it, i usually need a story line of some sort to keep me playing. which i dont see in metroid prime.

You mean people talking and a specific target and stuff like that? Obviously you have no idea who Samus Aran is...

If the two bounty hunters Boba Fett and Samus Aran were to fight each other, who do you think would win?

no, it's gotten all 6/6 scores until now, and when the range is up to 6 they have to use it sometimes. if its by % then it shouldnt be possible to get 100%, thats true.

backfire; it can't have the usual type of story when it's a totally non-linear game; it just can't. instead, you make your own story, you reveal info about the world you're in, stories untold are revealed with scanning and finding stuff, you dig deeper into the true story of your quest.

Repetitive? That's just ridiculous.

"Going in different "dungeons" and killing monsters, solving puzzles and defeating the boss" Is the basic formula of every adventure game.
MP, as Mah said, is a non-linear game. That makes it even more interesting.

MP's story and 'repetitiveness' is on par with Mario, Zelda, Banjo-Kazooie etc, the only difference is no one gets kidnapped.stick out tongue
