Lots of fighting games are based on real-life events where people have lost their lives.

playing some old SNES classics on my computer at the moment. I'm talking Yoshis Island, LoZ III: A Link to the Past, and of course the one and only Super Metroid

Yoshis Island is 2D-heaven on earth(or SuperNintendo, that is). crikey, its colorful, imaginative, innovative gameplay and the best bosses ever. if you have never tried it; GET IT, on Snes emulator, or on GameboyAdvance.

OUTRAGEOUS!!!
My Zelda has not shipped yet! I only pre-orderd the damn thing online cause it usually arrives 2-3 days before its actually released at the store!
This is insane! Had I known that Gamestop.com were a bunch of morons, I would of just bought the things at the store across the street!!

as for me, the shops here have been ultra-lame and havent got Metroid Prime in stock _yet_, so I've ordered it off the internet.
I've had a preorder for Zelda TWW for a few weeks now..

Still, I think this is disrespectfull...never has there been made a game from a real event...as far as I know...

TH, u'r most likely reffering to board games and other non pc games, because there are sooo many pc games with direct refference to real life events that many don't want to remember (WW I, WW II, etc..)...

And with The Medal of Honor series, you can actually play a real life battle, like the Normandy D-Day invasion and stuff.
Disrespectful or not, its fun
