Ouija Boards CAN contact spirits.
It so happens that genuine ones are very rare nowadays.
Now all the antique shops and magic shops sell those by Milton Bradley and the likes. Those won't work, no matter how many times you try.
Besides, you don't really need any of these stuff to contact spirits.
Just summon them when your alone.
Ask them to show themselves in a very dark, secluded place with a candle... or in a dimly lit room, stare at the mirror and ask them to show themselves.
It will take several minutes, hours even.
So, what constitutes a "real" Quija board? If you want real spirits you need to embrace negative energies and open your mind and spirit.

You have to have a board certified by Satan.

I'll also point out that he both claimed to need "proper" Ouija boards to contact spirits, then claimed that one nees nothing at all to do so. You don't even need outside information to prove this statement false. It's internally illogical.

You can't be a religion forum pro until you abandon internal consistency and logic. That's how JIA does it.

I wouldn't touch a Ouija board, as my personal belief is they act as invites for malevolent spirits.

Do you let black cats walk in front of you?

Yes, but I don't believe that will cause me bad luck before you say anything.

If you believe in one superstition, then why don't you believe in all of them? Also, if you don't believe is some, then why believe in any of them?

One reason seems to be that superstitions are generally vague enough that no particular case will ever be clearly false. Many superstitions involve getting good or bad luck. Since we don't know what form that luck will take, or what would have happened if we didn't have the luck, there is no way to be sure the prediction was false.

You would have to believe in "luck" in the first place.

I don't believe in luck, but then again when it comes to Ouija boards you don't really have to - unless I'm missing something.

Intresting site, but I'm asking for personal opinions on the matter, do YOU believe it involves luck? - WITHOUT using that site.
Personally, the only luck I associate with those boards is the kind that doesn't involve any naughty lil spirits coming back with you.

Ok. I believe in cause and effect. I do not believe in chance or luck. In my way of thinking, chance and luck are just us not knowing all the causes and effects going on at that time to come up with a result.

I'd like to have at least a modicum of faith in the populace here at KMC, even the ones I disagree with strongly. Most peoples' comments are at least consistent with their own views, even if they often shatter under outside scrutiny. But maybe I'm being too optimistic. And, of course, I stopped reading JIA's posts in earnest years ago, so you're probably right in that instance.

He is putting his energy in to talk about his beliefs. If other's don't agree they should ignore him and not respond. He isn't bashing anyone, so I do not see the problem.
I didn't even see this from like two months ago. I got got by lil.
In any case, I don't disagree with the initial question's implication. One need not have supporters to continue posting. But his current ban (long overdue, imo, though I actually wasn't involved in it) is because his posts amount to spam after a while, and he never actually engages anyone in conversation but resorts to Socratic ploys to talk only about what he wants to and spamming scripture passages.
But my question to him was valid, and not intended as an attack. His methods suggest Evangelism, yet after years here he's had no discernible affect to my eyes. I genuinely wondered why he continues with it.
