That's all I have to say to that. I'm no big Willabether but those two belonged together crappy story or no crappy story. Glad T&T got that right.

yup... although I like the story... I think tht maybe they'd keep living their lives the way they were... although maybe a bit more accepting to pirates...

Yes I think what changed overall is that Will accepted that piracy was apart of him and I think Elizabeth realized piracy wasn't as glamorous as she thought it was before and that Will was the best "pirate" for her in the end. That's why I like COTB. I think it wrapped up great. It's a shame some of the sequels muddled up the growth.

I liked the sequels... I think tht ppl grew more threwout the 3 films than in just the first one... the only thing I don't like about the sequels is the sparrabeth...

I think Elizabeth degenerated in the sequels. I actually ended up liking Will by part 3 so for that it was useful to me. And I liked that Jack showed some emotion but overall I could have done without the sequels just the same. I wa shappy to have more but I don't think they did the characters huge favors.

And ICAM about Sparrabeth. That was a stupid idea and I still don't even get why they went there.

They totally changed Elizabeth's personality... I always liked Will... he's been my fav. character for eva... then Liz, then Jack, but after seeing AWE, I like Will and Jack the same nad I like Liz the least... which isn't saying much bc I love all the characters...

Jack and Will to me are my favorites. I prefer Jack over all of them but those two were my faves. As far as Elizabeth beyond COTBP I really don't care for her character I like some of the villains better than her.

Not as a romantic pairing but I like how they play off of each other as rivals. Sparrbosa rivalry is awesome

Ah, Miz Remember S&S, maybe, just maybe, it was a pit bull puppy...I believe that you can indeed meet that one, even early, or under stress, and that relationship can grow as the individuals grow.

Elisabeth may have done a lot of things and be reviled or loved as you will, but that woman wouldn't settle for a gold brick if she wanted something different. lol Give the character a bit of credit, she got to be king becos she had her own ship, she had pirated, and she had killed a man. lol If you saw all, and no one changes, man, that's a tuffie. lol How Marty and Cotton/parrot behaved changed, so I'm thinking maybe some of the more subtle context clues were somehow overlooked. lol I know that it happens to me sometimes. lol

I am so happy you are happy. big grin It's really important when following a movie trilogy to reduce the entire thing to a couple of innocus statements that trivialize the whole thing. confused I find this is the most expedient manner to achieve maximum er, let's see, oh, um, er, oh, gosh it just escapes me--but oh, normal, maximum normal. cool

Miz Sel&Bru, darlin' how very kind of you to notice my plain little old posts. Others here are so much more capable than I ever thought about being. Rem S&S provided the framework, the prompt. She was so kind to set out her thoughts.

Those subtle context clues, funny, innuit..how you sometimes miss the forest for the trees.

yeah Jack and Barbossa are amazingly fun to watch onscreen together. they are both such talented actors, they both know all the tricks of the trade--- so there is this vibe of competition added on to what's in the script.

i think one of my favorite conversations in the film is when they've all arrived at the locker and Jack is like, "Hector its been too long!" and Barbossa is like "Isle de Meurta. You shot me." And Jack is like, "No I didn't."

hahahahahaha LOVE it. brilliant. it did, in some ways, make up for the lack of banter we got from other directions.
