Will Smith's acting was by far the best part of this movie.

The director of this film tried to stay away from it being a horror film.
It is too much like all of the Night Of The Living Dead films.
Also Will Smith does better in I Robots.
Will Smith`s new film Hancock......SUCKS big time

It would probably turn out to be a sci-fi horror turd.
if the studio insist on trying to milk more out of this franchise/story. They should do a prequel. Expand more on how humanity fell, how long it took etc. Probably still suck shit-covered balls though.

I think Will Smith's performance in it was excellent and I find it an enjoyable movie (even if it's not perfect and certainly still not nearly as good as the book), but seeing as he died, I'm not sure how they could pull off resurrecting him. And the movie already had some flashbacks so I don't think a prequel would really even be all that interesting.

To be fair though, you have terrible taste in films a lot of the time.

It's really nothing like the book except in name, but not a terrible Sci-Fi and worth the watch, imo. The last 30 mins or so turn into an almost standard action flick though.

He didn't die in the alternative ending...Maybe they'll go with that.
