The four had passed the week, without work. All they wanted to do was cry, when one day a sixth year friend of Ginny’s, Leslie. She had black hair, and was very tan. “Professor Potter, this note is from McGonagall.” She handed him the note, and sat next to Ginny. They walked away to a table and started gossiping.

Harry read the note carefully.

Dear Harry,
I would like to see you, and you alone in my office, now.
Signed, Professor M. McGonagall

Harry just stood up kissed Ginny waved at the other two, and walked off toward the Heads office. He felt like he was being followed. He turned around to find Leslie, running after him. “Can I help you, miss?” he asked.

“Yes, umm...Professor. Can I have private lessons? I’m not doing to well, with the Patronus.” Leslie asked. Harry nodded, and walked away to the Heads office.

He got there and stated, ‘Werewolf’ then he walked in. “Potter, have a seat,” said a stern voice. Harry found a seat and sat down. “Do you feel alrite? Do the two youngest Weasleys and Miss Granger feel alrite?”

“Minerva, I feel alrite, I don’t know about Miss Granger, Mr. Weasley, and Miss Weasley.” Harry replied. He walked out without being dismissed. He walked straight to his office, and he didn’t come down to the Great Hall for breakfast or lunch, finally around dinner, he came down, his jet black hair in a mess, from the sleep, and waking up from the nightmares he had. He walked into the Great Hall not staring at anybody, he walked up to the staff table, grabbed some food then ate slowly.

Everyone in the Great Hall started whispering, and Harry looked up at the Gryffindor table to see Ginny staring at him, with a worried expression. Harry took his hand and passed it over his face, and something happened that surprised Ginny. His hair was neat, but still unkepmt, and chin was shaven from the little goatee he had.

Harry got up from his dinner, then walked out of the hall with every single pair of eyes on him. He smiled at everyone, some girls fainted, some girls sighed, some guys laughed, some people cried, but Ginny, Ron, and Hermione knew something was wrong.

At that moment Dumbledore came out of nowhere and said, “I was smiling because he will die in those eyes, that are alive.” Harry had a puzzled look on his face. Dumbledore continued, “Harry, whenever you face Voldemort, Ginny will die trying to save you, but the truth is that you will come up with a curse that makes her transported to the Heads office. Because I remember. You placed a curse on Miss Weasley, that will rebound off all Unforgivable curses.” Harry nodded. He continued, “This curse you come up with, it must be shot at the exact time Voldemort shoots the Killing Curse. It also must be non-verbal. Do you understand, Harry?”

“Yes, Professor. I understand.” Harry replied. Harry was shot back into the real world. He awoke on a bed. He looked around to see that he was in the hospital wing. He looked out the window to see the full moon. He then imagined Lupin as a werewolf, running around somewhere, out in the distance. He then was shot back into reality, when he realized, that someone was moving around on his bed.

Ginny was in his bed, with him. She was beginning to stir. Harry put an arm around her and she whispered, “So your awake.” He nodded then kissed her. She asked him, “What made you black out?”

“Well, Ginny. I haven’t told you this yet, but my black-outs are caused by the dead. Well actually just. My mum, dad, Sirius, and Dumbledore caused it. They tell me important stuff that’s going to happen in the future. Listen Ginny,” Harry whispered, “Dumbledore says that we are going to die, in the battle with Voldemort. But, apparently I come up wit a curse that makes us reappear in the Heads office, rite before the spells hit us. I have to find it then we can go and battle him.”

Ginny smiled at him. She kissed him, and then they fell asleep.

They woke the next morning, and walked down to the Great Hall fully dressed. He decided to sit at the Gryffindor table today. But then McGonagall made an announcement. “Hogwarts will be having a Christmas Ball. Today we won’t have classes, so that your heads, can tell you what is accepted at this dance. Heads please come to me for what you need to tell your students.” Harry walked up to McGonagall and she told him what to tell the students then he went and sat back down next to Ginny.

Harry had his eyes on Dean through all of breakfast. He looked at Ginny and asked, “So, you wanna go?”

“What’d you mean Harry?” Ginny asked.

“The Christmas Ball, Ginny. You wanna go, with me?” he asked, again. Ginny nodded and kissed his cheek. Then the owl post came in. This time Hedwig came through the owl post. She landed rite in front of Harry. Harry took the letter tied to her leg, and fed her some bacon.

Dear Harry,
Please come down to me house dis’ afternoon round 2. Bring Ron, Hermione, and Ginny if you want.

Harry passed the note to Ginny, who passed it to Hermione, who passed it to Ron. All of their faces had an expression of happiness. Harry walked with Ginny to the Gryffindor common room. They walked in and Dean came up and said, “Ginny can I talk to you?”

Harry glared at Dean and said, “Wait until I am done Dean.” Harry walked passed Dean, pulling Ginny’s hand with him, of course she followed. Ginny tried to calm Harry down, but nothing worked. So she finally kissed him, and this apparently calmed him down. He broke away, then stood up and yelled, “Everyone quiet down please.” Everyone went silent, he continued, “This year at the Christmas Ball you must have a date to go. You have to be fourth year and up. If you are a third year, and down, and you are asked by a fourth year you may go, otherwise, you can’t go. Men must also wear dress robes, and women must wear dresses. And one final thing, if you have been turned down by a person, don’t keep on asking them to go with you.” Harry stared at Dean when he said this. Then he sat down next to Ginny and put an arm around her.

Ron went to Hermione and asked, “So, you wanna go with me to the Christmas Ball?” Hermione smiled, then kissed Ron on the cheek. Ron blushed a brick red color.

Ginny stared at Harry then said, “How about tomorrow? For Quidditch tryouts?” Harry looked at her, then smiled, and nodded. Harry stayed up in the Gryffindor common room until 1:45 P.M.

Harry, Ginny, Ron, and Hermione, rushed out of the portrait hole, and down to Harry’s office. He took out his Invisibility cloak and threw it over the girls. Harry was afraid that if he, as a new teacher, had three students with him that he might get in trouble. So he walked to Hagrid’s with the trio, and knocked on his door. “Hello Hagrid,” Harry said, as he shook Hagrid’s gigantic hand.

“I’m jus’ fine, Harry. Good to see you Ron.” Hagrid replied, he ushered them all in. Ginny took off the Invisibility Cloak and Hagrid yelled, “Blimey, please don’t do that again. Scared o’ crap outta me.” Ginny and Hermione giggled. “So, do all ye’ have dates for this Christmas Ball, already?” They all nodded, then he said, “Who?” Harry grabbed Ginny’s hand and kissed her, and Ron just kissed Hermione’s cheek. The girls blushed. Hagrid nodded his head.

Then Hagrid mentioned something to the four, that Harry wished he’d never have said, “Well, Harry, Hermione, just so you know, most of us teachers here at Hogwarts thought that you’d two end up together. We had a pot going, it was at least 1,000 Galleons, before Dumbledore died. But, I guess we were wrong.” Hagrid smiled as he said this. Harry on the other hand lost his temper. He slammed down his glass of tea, Hagrid gave him, the glass actually broke. Then he ran out the door. Ginny followed him. “What’s so matta, with him?”

Hermione stood up and said, “Well we actually went out for a day or two at the Burrow. But Harry couldn’t stand to see Ginny upset so he dumped me for her. But I am happy with Ron.” She patted his knee, and he smiled. Hagrid smiled and watched Harry out from his window.

Meanwhile outside Ginny yelled, “Harry what’s wrong?” Harry turned around to she a look of worry on her face. His whole body was glowing, but as he saw her face, he stopped glowing. He walked over to her slowly, and hugged her. She hugged back. Harry then kissed her forehead, and then held her. They stayed like that until, Hermione and Ron came out. They four said good-bye to Hagrid and left for the school.

They walked to the common room to find only Dean in there, so the four sat on the chairs, closest to the fireplace, and then something happened. Dean came up to a sixth year, girl and asked, “Hey, ummm.....do you wanna go to the Christmas Ball, eh?” The girl looked at him, smiled, then nodded.

Can ya'll guess who the sixth year girl is?
