Inclined to agree. There's really nothing special or likeable about Nathan Drake at all. And, y'know, lacking that whole character development thing...yeah.
I think people like him because they wish they could get away with being a douche without everyone around them knocking them cold.

They think he's cool because he gets away with being a ponce for some unfathomable reason, and somehow manages to have friends and a moderately hot girlfriend while also being the most unlikeable douche with one of the most unattractive personalities in gaming.
So all the awkward, douchebag neckbeards look at him and want to be him.
Of course not, actions do. And by my actions, I am a douche.

So I had a dream about a forest where it rains spiders, and upon waking up spent several minutes working out exactly how it would work for possible future use.

I dreamed that I was kung-fu fighting gangsters while trying to watch a movie. After I woke up I continued to image how it would continue where the boss pulls a gun on me, I hide behind a liqour counter and throw molotov cocktails at him.
True, they guy could knock a guy with a helmet out with a headbutt >-> Ok like Lee or Chan then.
Im kinda mixed. The superhumans will be doing more badass things that normal guys cant do, but the normals are doing these things against people at their level.

It depends on the level of superhuman. People like say Captain America fight pretty much the same and are still kind of grounded in reality, but when you get to God-like insanity level things just get so much more intense. Beating someone with your fists or a gun or a sword is always pretty cool, but blowing up a mountain with your mind will always be Awesome!
