Uhh, not only to animals. Have you ever seen her when her friends are in danger? Either just possibly sick or in genuine harm, she's ready to take action.

Dash is extremely competitive, with a clear focus on AJ, as we've seen in multiple episodes and Fall Weather Friends specifically. AJ rarely actively competes, but is clearly the strongest of the mane cast, which intrigues Dash in ways she can't really explain and inspires even greater effort to show off for her.
AJ has to be pretty well-endowed because a Southern hard-workin' farm gal wearin' metaphorical overalls is... gonna be. 'Cos I said so.
And a well-endowed gal with a flat-chested gal is, to me, aesthetically pleasing.
EDIT: The mere fact we're still on this subject baffles me.

I agree about this entirely, is why I thoguht AJ would have largest bust. Also, RainbowJack is what I consider the most likely pairing because of that competitive semi-fo-yay.

Its the same reason I see Twilight Pie as a possibility. I like to imagine Twlight trying to read and getting ever more frustrated as Pinkie runs around the house screaming like a lunatic.
And then somehow they end up in bed together. Like always.
I knew from the moment I saw her as Nightmare Moon that she'd be number one in my fanboyism. Fluttershy comes next, and I've yet to place the rest of the mane cast.
