I don't necessarily think that super-close friendship always has to rule out any sort of romantic/sexual relationship. There's always been some sexual tension between my best (female) friend and I basically as long as we've known each other (the sentence "why didn't we hook up in high school when we were both single?" has been said before). And GK and I were kind of super-close friends before we started dating. __________________
