I want it to stop ****ing raining already.

It hasn't stopped since early Friday morning. Everything around here is flooded, streets closed, etc. It's the worst rainfall Chicago's ever seen. Yesterday I was at a staff meeting for the anime convention GK and I work at, and it took me over an hour to get home (when normally it takes 30 minutes) because of streets being washed out, so I had to detour all over. Half the parking lot was under 2 feet of water. At one point during the meeting someone came in and said that the hotel staff said that anyone parked outside or on the ground floor of the parking lot needed to move their cars because there was water coming into the garage.

And the remains of Ike haven't even made it up here yet!
