Wow..I never thought I'd hear of somebody saying that Naruto characters move at light speed. Sure unless you know how big the fire country is and how far away from Konoha the Sand Village is you could probably quantify some speed but everything in Naruto is really unknown but they sure don't move light speed lol.

Um, I have seen Goku transverse galaxies in seconds. The new planet namek was ever farther from earth than the old and he made it in seconds. We have also seen gotenks fly around the world several times in seconds. I agree millions of times of the speed of light is retarded but its a pretty safe bet that goku at his peak could move a few times the speed of light. As for the others my guess is that most people base their powers on how well they match up with Goku and not on their own individual feats.
As for the better show, I still go with DBZ. I am a naruto fan but I due get frustrated with the amount of emotion in every fight. Do we really need a backstory and a crying session every time they fight?
And I swear I am really getting annoyed with Naruto dick riding Sasuke in Shippuden so much. You would think they were lovers instead of friends the way Naruto acts.
Sasuke tried to kill him, betrayed the village, put all his other friends in danger, and joined with the person reponsible for the thirds death, yet no one can say anything bad about him in front of Naruto or he turns into a *****.

Gokou also used a move that teleports not his own speed. As for Gotenks....nobody knows how many times he went around nor how long it took him.
I agree about Naruto though...He should really just realize Sasuke left because he's an idiot who only wants power not anything else. Naruto just needs to move on and leave Sasuke alone.

It never really says how long it takes. At least manga wise don't remeber about the anime. The only time ever said is the minute he has left fused and flies from where ever he is with Piccolo to Fat Buu's house.

I think it is depicted that Goku can and other characters can easily move as fast as teleportation, however, not for reat distances, such as galaxies. This is where Instant Transmission comes into play which is indeed a teleportation technique.
As far as which is better, well, DBZ pretty much wrote the book on modern shonen action. Naruto is good, but DBZ is just better.
If Gokou could move as fast as teleporting he really wouldn't have needed it the times he used it against Cell to get Tien and Piccolo who weren't really far away from him at all, and to shoot the Warp Kamehameha or used it against Kid Buu because he couldn't dodge a blast while ssj3.

To fly the Z warriors use their Ki; the reason they don't use their full speeds all the time is because it would drain more ki to fly at such high speeds, especially if such a thing isn't necessary, Goku dont use because he has the IT, in using Ki to fly, none of them has show light speed.
But in fights, The Z warriors move over sound speed since DB, and for short moments, they burst Ki to amplify his speed, strenght and Durability; a more ki, the burst of ki is higher and the Z move faster, For the high quantity of Ki Goku SSJ3 has, he sure could pass Over light speed, or be close to it, considering he is a guy who can dominate over 100G. Buu has the same speed that Goku SSJ3, so saying why Goku could not avoid Kid Buu attack is because they are fighting at high speed.

Most of the time in DBZ fighers there NOT telorting, like vegeta says its just super speed, siyans move to qiuck for the human eye ( in this case narutos eyes) to see !! There deffinatly light speed or faster by Frieza saga

DBZ characters have never been shown to move at the speed of light. There's no proof saying they have, either. Moving faster then then eye can see does not= lightspeed.
Technically not light speed travel. It's more teleportation. If you were to compare that to real life, impossible. It even states in a high school physics book that ANYTHING with a MASS CANNOT travel the speed of light. It would require infinite energy which is IMPOSSIBLE. Stupid 13 year old kids.
