DBZ isn't face paced, though. Why does one battle take a whole saga? They're not fighting a whole saga, I know. In one Saga I remember I think it was Gohan and a few other people just stalled for like for episodes waiting for Goku to get for Goku to get to the planet.
no i meant when they finally fight its fast paced, until they stop and talk that is.. but yeah the sagas are slow but the fightings cool...until it gets repetive that is...( im contradicting myself now hold on one second).... narutos fighting is cool too but its all just watered down no salt no pepper dbz
Pathetic. Only little kids who like big explosions would think dbz is better than Naruto. Naruto fights are actually the best I have ever seen in any anime, check out gaara vs rock lee, orochimaru vs the third or the best fight Naruto vs Sasuke, fight scenes in anime don't come much better than them and unlike dbz some thought power is actually put in to choreographing the Naruto scenes and how fights play out its not just bang ssj2 now I win because im more powerfulersz!! Dbz is crap, lines darting around the screen, the same replayed melee attacks over and over, two episodes to charge up there attack. The only way to win in dbz was to be more powerful and have more energy and bigger BLAST0RZ FTW!
some people just like the whole dbz style. some people like the naruto style. i like both i watch every ep of naruto i just liked dbz fighting better ive seen the oro 3rd hokage battle and loved it orochimarus the man espicially when he had to fight two sanins with no arms( un fair) but its close real close like 48/50 to me dbz.. the only reason the garra lee fight was cool to me was because rock lees weak ass got injured badly thats what i liked about that fight

I'm a huge DBZ fan but I have to admit I think Naruto would give DBZ a hard time trying to win against them because the attacks that the Naruto characters use are Not like an average ki blast the DBZ characters use.

This isn't a who'se stronger thread, we all know even the weaker DBZ characters would smash Naruto's strongest. We're talkinf about which is a better show.
I figure rasengan should disable krillin, dont see why it wouldnt as he is human after all with no great durability. Also assuming genjutsu worked then Itachi could beat any one from dbz tbh.
When has krillin ever moved/ fought at mach speed? Naruto would likely die to any one from dbz but Itachi can beat even goku if he can use his genjutsu on him, imo.

Goku would win via speed blitz. And krillin and all the Z warriors can move across the planet at insane speeds, if not mach speed then pretty darn close.
I think Goku would look at Itachi's eyes before attacking, you know the classic dbz/western stare they do for 5 mins before powering up and charging head on.

? um......? ? and uh? look i like the action in naruto. its probaly the best thing about it. its fast paced BUT they never really land a solid punch. also i hate that whenever someone gets hit its never them. i mean i was watching it today and over the course of 2 min. i saw 4 clones. ): also the flashback thing. i saw one scene and 20 sec. later they show it again in a flashback........ TWICE! so.... dbz wins.

Re: Dragonball Z Vs. Naruto
DragonBall Z, pioneered the shonen genre manga/anime, but let's make a comparison.
Art: Dragon Ball, since Naruto's art always struck me as bland. Toryimama is simple a better artist than kishimoto by far since his characters feel more alive than Kishie's.
Story: Naruto, even the story telling skills in Naruto are poor. It's better than DragonBall, since it isn't about story.
Characters: Dragon Ball, the characters in Naruto are way too depressing. Though, Rock lee and Neji are cool. . .I find that "Emo-ninja" craze that Kishie does is annoying. There is waaaay too much angst in Naruto. I hate how every character has to be some angst pre-teen that has to be converted by Narutoism in order to enjoy life. Furthermore, the series lacks character development within the supporting cast like Dragonball post frieza saga.
Fights: Dragon Ball. . .fillers aside, the fights in dragon ball are waaay better than Naruto. Though, Naruto had some good fights at the start of the series. . .it's strating to become like every other shonen manga. The whole, main character gets angry and beats X amount of foes sucks.
Overall: Dragonball may not be as consistent or have a narrtive compared to Naruto. But, it's a fun series, which is why I prefer it over Naruto.
