I'm sure a large factor is him portraying romance incarnate. Females view him as this dashing, dangerous, but respectful male fantasy. He just exudes these characteristics. And while most viewers will see nothing but wooden acting, fans will subconsciously see their fantasy come to life. It certainly helps that he's not exactly the ugliest guy in the world.
I'm not even going to get into the typical "band-wagon hopping" that helped this franchise become what it is.
Perhaps the thing that surprises me the most is legitimate talent like Michael Sheen and Dakota Fanning signing onto these movies. Though I suppose everyone has their reasons.

What I am wondering is why Thom Yorke contributed a song to New Moon, like...does he not care where his music is featured, perhaps he just enjoys it being exposed to as many people as possible, or does he genuinely enjoy the series or movie...what's the angle here...
What ladies is are any many trying to get with knowledge of Twilight? Twilight fan girls?
No thanks.
Regarding Thom Yorke, he probably just likes the movies. Then again, he likes musicians I don't like. It doesn't stop him being a genius.
He's not romance incarnate, though. From everything I've heard, he's a bi-polar mind**** machine who seems to do nothing but mentally abuse this girl and cause her to have multiple mental breakdowns.
How is that romance or respectful?
Then girls wanna whine about boys treating them bad.

Yeah, that would fall under what I thought with the first one. I am not sure though, if he needs the money or did it for the money, so I was and still am wondering. Basically, I don't read interviews though I thought I'd ask...perhaps I should have asked in the Radiohead thread though...or googled it, but really, seems like too much of a bother.
1. I'm confused. This doesn't change what I said. In fact, you didn't disagree.
2. The "skills" of being a ladies man don't disappear after you get married. You just stop using them. (they can become dull, as well, but it only takes a week to resharpen.) Also, I never said I was a ladies man: I said Neo Version 7 was.
If this were an actual conversation we were having face to face, I would do my beatbox record scratching with your phrase, "Check it first, dude." That would be my come back.
You saying that I'm not, obviously trying to take a shot, therefore doesn't bother me. I'm not, happily. You aren't either, so we're in the same boat.
It doesn't matter if you have the skills or not, you're not using them. If you're not taking them out the box then keep the box in the attic and don't reference it.
Simple as pie.
Regardless, you like Twilight. You're not a ladies man. You're a lady, man.
