heres what I thought happened in the fight, first sentry taking hulks punches didn't weaken the sentry at all in fact he wanted it he wanted to fight and to finally unleash and taking hulks punches somehow knocked it out of him, as he said after one of the punches "thats it" or something like that and unleashed his power then they were going equal however I didnt see sentry managing to land a hit on the hulk after he was unleashed as he was in awe of his power and sentry realized if he wasnt stopped he'd kill everyone and he knew that the hulk had to win or every one would die
then it gets fuzzy, they both depowered, it's obvious the hulk didnt run out of energy as he still had the glowing green eyes and I'm pretty sure he's been said to be an infinite power (unleashed a couple of minutes later) hulk won the fight because he was up sentry was down and bcause he had more hits on the sentry as well, in my opinion hulk took it over the sentry because sentry has no control over his power while hulk has more control
i can't comprehend that line of reasoning when he completely overshadows every display of power beforehand when meik spilled the beans right after the sentry fight.
just saying he still had plenty of power within him, enough power to go worldbreaker
woldbreaker = red hulk, all the hulked out heroes, iirc a-bomb and red she-hulk, and doc samson's amp. banner was still able to transform into some sort of savage hulk even after getting his power drained by the hijacked satellite.
myth: hulk losing power while fighting sentry, BUSTED
Yet he was still turned back to banner. While it was true that he had plenty of power he only went WB after seeing his best firned stabbed, then hearing Miek's confession. The hulk who's power is boosted by rage had all he needed to go into that state.

so whats ur opinion on him turning back to human? That he was still as powerful as ever while banner? Its pretty obvious that he took enough damage or lost enough power to the point where he wasnt hulk anymore. When got pissed again he turned back to WWH, then he got the badnews and turned WB.
they a had touching moment between old chums and/or sentry's energy that can calm hulk (which reed tried to simulate in the same arc) did the trick while sentry was pouring out enough energy to power himself down.
either way it was only temporary for the hulk, who proved his batteries were not dead. quite the opposite actually
