OK, I will post in here once and only once. As a DIE HARD DBZ fan (like huge die hard fan) I have to say that I am 100%, fully and completely confident that this movie will blow some serious crappy ass.
DBZ should not, ever, EVER be made into a live movie. It cant ever work, there is no way in hell they can pull it off, no one can pull this movie off, its an impossible movie to make.
They should have just left this movie as a "never being made" and forgot about it.
Damn there goes the tiny hope i had for this movie being done right!! Argggh a teen high school love story with a few aliens and action scenes in the desert damn talk about embarrasing.
Yea ill most likely see it too. Big DBZ fan here. Loved the end of cell (vS Gohan) final battle and the end of Buu episode. Vegeta's my fav Z warrior. He reminds me of a part of me when i was younger., hehe. GT's..meh. It's the series I least like out of all the entire Z saga. GT drawings were cool and Janemba was the sickest enemy Goku faced, to me, but the story seemed uninteresting to me. Trunks looks mad gay in it. And so does Gohan, kinda.
But I just finished watching the Matrix Revolutions and man that "superb" Neo vS Smith fight in the end continues to make me think that a DB live action power fight can be pulled off convincingly and oh so sickly.

Yeah but with Chatwin as GoKu and dont believe the fights will be good as in Matrix, am so damn skeptical, if they kill this my childhood will be raped as hell

I will see this because I'm a bug DBZ fan, but these cast choices are for the birds. I hope the martial arts moves and the cgi effects outweight everything else.
DBZ worked great as an anime, but I doubt it will work as a real live action movie.
I donīt think they will stick too much to the original material, they will probably change alot of things and add useless elements to make it work as a real movie. So I think most fans (including me) will be very dissapointed.
But letīs just wait and see...you never know, it might surprise us
