Hulk recently tore Wolverine in two and that didn't kill Logan what would happen if Slade was torn in two??? I think Slade would be toast, I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that I'm not. This example just goes to show how tough the runt is.
You mean the Xmen/Titans crossover were Wolverine sneak attacked Slade, and he played dead, then Slade beat up the entire X Team, including Wolvie and Collusus, are you sure you want to use that example?

Eh, it looked more like a bunch of guys picking on Mider than anything conclusively showing Wolverine could realistically win against a faster stronger smarter more well equipted character.
OK, that's what it was only for the first so many pages, it actually got decent on page 9 or 10. All it showed was that Mider hasn't read the various Deathstroke issues and appearances, or at least not many.
For example: He'd know to argue what Capt said about Slade being only 10x human, when a reader knows what's Slade started as in his early Titans appearances, and each time he died, it was specifically pointed out to the reader that he was then stronger and faster than ever.
Also the scan of Wolverine hitting Slade, in that Titans/X-Men crossover was used, and lopsided I might add, given that Slade kinda kicked everyone's ass that issue, and still stood when all the opponents fell.
Like I said at the beginning, it just shows Capt was better at holding his stance on the character and it's abilities, since apperently he owns the issues required in the debate[mentioned early in the thread]. ..
. . .and actually has nothing conclusive of how Wolverine could beat Deathstroke, and that's why this thread, featuring many good debators [and a few bad...]throughout, has gone on for this many pages.

Personally, he made a believer out of me. Honestly, I think that the two are dead even with one another when it comes to skills. Where Slade has a strength advantage, Wolverine is quicker. Where Slade has his agility, Wolverine has his amazing senses. I think that these two are deadlocked. I did a dissection of Slade's feats and sifted through the crap. Here's the link. http://www.killermovies.com/forums/f95/t399850.html
But Wolverine... well he just keeps coming, no matter what you do to him, and that will - I think - be the downfall of Slade, after a very long and brutal fight.

Slade's still quicker, and also has better senses. Take the fight scene in your thread for example, he showed the ability to see the molecular level to take out Atom, and heard Dinah's jaw lock from the across a good distance while in the middle of a melee against multiple opponents and took her out. That alone also showing his awesome reaction and quickness. That he did recognized, strategized, and completed the strategy before she could be breathe.
There's other showings of Slade's quickness shown in his own series that your thread failed to mention, such as chasing down Kid Flash on foot, from behind when the Titans encountered him in his own series. He kept with him long enough to take him down with his staff.
There's also a good handful of times he completely massacres teams like you saw in Identity Crisis. Best he did against the Big 7 was though, was all one at a time really.
But I also acknolwedge there's only so many of Slade's showings that have been turned into scans and actually have had someone bother to gather them. So while a decent Respect Thread, you only had a small piece of Slade so you're more free to show what you feel the caracter is capable of based only on a handful of scans.
Needless to say, you've also misinterpreted some things because of this, say for instance the showing against that Titans team. Here's the scan. http://img203.imageshack.us/my.php?...atep02034iv.jpg Your interpretation seemed to involve the fact that Kid Flash is simply moving too fast for him and got in on him and did that. Truth is, Slade was blinded by Kid Flash in full sprint. Once he got his bearings, what happened? "You're fast. [as if himself not impressed with the blind-side-spleedblitz] ". .so am I". Takes a knife across, and follows with a kick that Kid Flash was unable to react to.
While he couldn't outrun a speedster, he can obvious react to them and hang with them long enough of a time for him to have taken them down. As he's shown over and over again. His bad reaction to Superman in that one thread though, he obviously saw and had the reaction, but seemed more like "Wtf do I do? I have no way of preventing this."" The idea is that even if Slade did dodge, he can't really kick Superman, or stuff his head in a bag, or dip out of the back. There's nothing TO do but take it like a man.

Or an argument rather. I was just about to go through the final pages to see if someone has used the picture where Slade kicks Kid Flash. Obviously glancing at the pages isn't necessary anymore.
And I personally think Slade would take the majority here. The fights wouldn't be easy, but most of the times Deathstroke would be the one standing in the end, just too many advantages over Wolverine...
