Never mind would I have done it or not, It was a very selfish move, an injury that affected his performance. And at the most important position on the whole team. I resent that. I didn't even know that he neglected to tell the coaches until today, before I just thought he was a bad QB who wasn't fit to lead this team, now I really dislike him.
Anyways Auburn loses, so LSU could possibly jump BC, but it doesn't matter, they'll lose another game I guarantee it. With 4 teams ahead of USC losing, we should be in top 10. I can't wait til we play Oregon, should be a good one.
Cal is officially useless to us. They dropped all the way to 21 with a .197 average. But ASU @ #4 and Oregon @ #5 mean everything to us at this point in the season. We play #5 Oregon this next game, so if we win. with our .538 average and their .762 average, we should rise past quite a few teams. I really don't know how far though. I think if we win, we should get at least a .750 average, which would move us to #6. Now assuming Arizona State remains unbeaten until we play them, and we beat them, we will move into the #4 position. This is where we rely on other teams. We need Boston College to lose, we would also need either LSU or Ohio State to lose to move into one of the top 2 positions.
If we win out, the polls should rank us ahead of Oklahoma and any other team with a loss.

That was a great game, very close just like I expected. Came down to the final possession. I have to give it to Oregon though, I think they are the best in the Pac-10. And if they win out, could find themselves in the title game.
One thing I liked in this game about our team were our receivers. Turner had his best game as a Trojan, Hazelton and Ausberry were money with their catches. They have been dropping balls all season long, but none in this game.
Questionable playcalling by Sark. What the hell are you doing running an end around on 4th and 1 inside the redzone. WhAT THE HELL WAS THAT? We threw when we should have been running and we ran when we should have been passing(final drive).
The key to this game was penalties and turnovers. 6 USC penalties to Oregon's 1, the most notable ones were the holding call that took back a McKnight 50+ yard touchdown(this dude is amazing) and the personal foul call on our first possession that took us out of the redzone. Not to mention the 15 yard face mask on the punt return that made us start from the 17 yard line instead of the 32 on the final drive.
Looks like our run of 5 straight Pac-10 titles are over. Sad day in Trojan land.
Looks like Kansas is going to pull it out against the Cowboys. I guess LSU will be #1 though in the BCS tomorrow but I really wish they would lose another game.
Oregon should definitely be #1. I really hope they get in the title game, then it's Rose Bowl for us, should we win out. I really want to play tOSU in it, another USC-UM Rose Bowl....no thanks. If we don't get into Rose Bowl, at least we get tOSU next season at home, looking forward to that one.
Even if Oregon's #1 and LSU's #2 or LSU #1 and Oregon #2, if both teams don't win out, they probably won't be in the BCS title game with Kansas and OU lurking, so I think the ranking order for these two teams is irrelevant.
Oregon's offense looked pathetic without Dixon, he may be out for the season, I really liked him, but this gives us an opportunity to win the Pac 10, go to the Rose Bowl and extend the streak.
